Not sure on the first two, but you can see their heads on Jabba's wall next to Han Carbonite.

I think a 'snow-lizard' according to the book I read when I was 10

some say native to Hoth, some say brought with them

just as dewbacks seem to be native to Tat. but somehow came with the troopers as well

apparently, the empire is prepared for any occasion and tatooine is just perfect for supplying animals for the empire... although it is supposedly forgotten and unimportant

I say they smell because they smell worse inside

if they are native to Hoth, what do they eat?
if not, what the heck do Wampas eat?

The Tusk-like protrusions are used for clearing away snow, to get at the vegitation underneeth, similar to a modern caribou's antler. As to why they stink...? I dunno, cause they're fuzzy critters, & fuzzy critters stink? I hope they do another trillogy.... I wanna design creatures for star wars! That's a bad-ass job. I can't beleive someone is making a living doing that...right now. Bastards.

I thought there wasn't enough life on this rock to fill a space cruiser... but then, Han wasn't really known as a naturalist...

1. snow lizard
2. They exude some of their waste products and oils through specialized ducts on their skin, giving them a very foul odor.
3. ROTJ - Jabba's Trophy beside Han

I always found that quote amusing as they end up sending out a few transports.
