....personally i dont really like the idea,i think information should be accesible to everyone even if they are not logged in....scalping will happen regardless, and i think buy trying to slow things down, this will just make scalpers even more powerful do to the fact that the general public will not be properly informed in the "latest" news,or locations of figures etc...

We post on the main page toysrus has this or Zellers have that, It is individual store posting that people don't like other people to see. It has been a complaint for a long time. To post What local store has what for the whole world to see usually backfires, since the people you are trying to help never get the stuff. It has been an on going complaint...

It has always been a handfull of local forum members posting their finds and non members just surfing by and using the info but not contributing.

I could care less myself since I usually get what I want, but there are allot of people that always seem to miss out. :( The idea of this forum is to help other collectors, but it would be nice if more of the help went to people that contribute

I couldn't agree with you more Koda! I made a post in Manitoba about some Marvel Legends, 6 Thors a couple Magnetos, wolverine and ghost rider at wallmart. The next day they were mostly gone! :'( I hope some fellow troopers were able do get what they needed but I bet good money scalpers got a good handfull >:( That's sad, everyone is legally able to buy as many as they want but to rip people off warrants a wicked HulkSMASH

Koda you may not be a forum god but you are as wise as master Yoda ;D

Man, I don't check the forums for 2 days all this happens. Anyways I think this a great idea Koda, but if the provincial forums for members only, might as well make the whole forum members only, just a thought :)

I like this idea and I think it's a good balance between all or nothing, but if you really want to foil the scalpers, how about a hidden forum? those that contribute around here get a link to it and those that just register so that they can continue to lurk and further their scalping ways, don't.

I like the Provincial Forums for Registered Members Only idea.  Maybe it'll encourage a few more people to sign up and contribute once in awhile.  If it  puts a scalper or two in the dark then all the better.

That's right, so you better watch it.

* Chris Berry remembers that he has admin access at this forum and quickly heads to the administration section, then the ban menu. ;)

I did it once at JD, don't think I won't here. :-*
