So far i've only gotten 4 TIE Interceptors (3 of em are the Red Royal Guard version) and a Battle Damaged Millenium Falcon that i've opened. They're awesome (heavy too, but that's to be expected since they're actual metal)

The only thing i don't get is why does the mold of the Falcon have the landing gear down? Isn't that what the display stand is for? :~/~: :sign0065:

Now if only for next year's run they do some EU vehicles:

Xizor's Virago from Shadows of the Empire
the Outrider (SOTE)
the Otana (Xwing Alliance)
Muurian Transport (Xwing Alliance)
Imperial Missile Boat (TIE Fighter and later SW Flight sims, but the TIE Fighter version looks MUCH better than the Xwing Alliance version)
Imperial Gunboat (Xwing series)
TIE Defender
TIE Avenger (both from TIE Fighter and later)
Moldy Crow (Dark Forces: Jedi Knight)
Raven's Claw (Jedi Outcast and Academy)
Z-95 Headhunter (Xwing series)
T-Wing (TIE Fighter and newer)
Chiss Clawcraft (NJO Books)
Any Yuuzhan Vong ships (Coralskippers, Yorik-trema landing craft, etc)
Bounty hunter ships (Hound's Tooth, Punishing One, Mist Hunter, IG-2000, etc)
Lando's ship, the Lady Luck (Jedi Outcast, or XWing Alliance)
A Sith Meditation Sphere would be neat too...weird but neat
Can't forget an E-Wing, Jade Shadow or Jade's Fire.
It'd just be a repaint, but Errant Venture as well as the Wild Karrde.

Does anyone know if they've done the Clone Wars Deco Gunship in Titanium? I've seen the Transformer, but not the Titanium.

That's about all i can think of right now, but those would be my top picks to be made, particularly the Otana, the TIE Defender, the Missile boat and the T-Wing

Yup, they did the Clone Wars gunship in Titanium already... it was initially hard to find, but I noticed they eventually showed up in large enough numbers that I often saw 2 or 3 on the pegs when I went by TRU.

My only complaint about the current wave is they're releasing Obi's eps3  Jedi fighter with battle damage.  I was hoping they'd just release the Walmart version which leaves out the damage/scorch marks. Arrrgh.

Before they get to doing any EU, they better make:
- Hailfire Droid
- Acclamator
- Spider Walker

These are Clone Wars must-haves...

I'm also surprised that they didn't just put in retractable landing gear on the Falcon like they did with the starfighters. Just glad I didn't buy the X-Wing fighter which I only later learned you couldn't fold back the wings - and now Hasbro has said they'll be redoing the X-Wing with working wings this time.

Which one was the Acclamator again? Is it the same as the Republic Attack Cruiser?

...

Just checked Wookieepedia, never mind

That'd be cool if they did a Titanium "Evolutions" set, from Acclamator  to Venator (R.A.C) to either an ISD or Executor (heck why not both? Make it 5 ships instead of 3, then they could do a Jedi Interceptor to T.I.E. Starfighter, standard TIE, TIE Interceptor and Vader's TIE X1 (or even a Defender, just cause i'm dreaming at 2 AM :rollfloorlaffsmiley: )

Was at a local welfaremart and they had the wave 12 up for grabs.  It was nice to see the starfighter with hyperspace ring again.

I guess Hasbro wasn't joking when they said that they would re-release some vehicles.  I'd really like to find me a Death Star so that I can keep it MOC.

Here's a response from Hasbro regarding titanium in the latest round of Q&As. So basically as I mentioned they're not dead. There's a bit left for 2007 but they'll be back in 2008.

http://www.sirstevesguide.com/index.php?categoryid=13&p2_articleid=716

So good news for SW titanium collectors.

From the statement made by Hasbro back in July 'Hasbro Q&A for the week of July 6th'
I wonder when in 2008 they're talking about new releases?

Personally I still haven't seen the trade federation ship in Canadian stores, I have a feeling that I never will either.

I'm asking this question now because we're heading down to Florida in Feb and am wondering if I'll luck out on anything there this year.  Last year was pretty good, I came back with about a dozen ships.

An update to this Jan 2nd post.

I found a list at rebelscum.  I was pretty disappointed to see that we missed quite a few ships at the end of 2007..unless we are to receive these in stores sometime in the new year.

  AT-RT (Kashyyyk deco)
Darth Vader's TIE Advanced x1 Starfighter (white)
Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter (with Hyperspace Ring)
  Trade Federation Battleship

  AT-AT Walker (Shadow)
  AT-ST (Hoth deco)
  Blizzard Force Speeder Bike
  Imperial V-Wing Starfighter
Trade Federation AAT (Clone Wars deco)

Although the majoprity of them are repaints I would have definately liked to have gotten the trade federation battleship and the blizzard force speeder bike.

The 2008 list gives me hope:
2008
  AT-OT
  Jabba's Desert Skiff
  Kashyyyk Speeder Bike
  Millennium Falcon
Saesee Tiin's Jedi Starfighter (with Hyperspace Ring)

  Anakin Skywalker's Pod Racer
  Mon Calamari Star Cruiser
  Rogue Shadow
  Slave I
  X-Wing Fighter

I'd especially like to get the dessert skiff, pod racer and the Calamari Cruiser!

Keeping this thread alive...

From Entertainment Earth here are some of the Titaniums that we should expect to see now and in the coming months:

March http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HS34558ZZ
These were supposed to be out in March but haven't really seen any in Canada.  I was looking forward to picking up the Mon Clamari Cruiser and Anakin's pod racer.

For April http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HS34558A11#LargeImage.  I'm hopin gto get the T-16 Skyhopper and the Royla Cruiser.

June http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HS34558A22 would be nice with the Starfighter w\hyperspace ring, Sebulba's pod racer and the Gungan sub.

Does anyone know if the latest release of the republic attack cruiser that is hanging off the pegs a straight repack, or repaint? There are so many repaints, that I don't know which ones I'm missing when I'm in the stores. I wish hasbro would give the titaniums different names like (Battle damaged Slave I) on the package, but I guess it's their way of making us buy more, or buy toys we already have.
I use to check the jeditemple archives to keep track of all the different ships, but they don't seem to be up to date.

I couldn't see any variations so it looks like a repack to me.

I agree, it'd be nice if Hasbro would put more effort when re-releasing.  Then again I'm not big on repaints so it don't matter how many names they give them.

I collect repaints, but not straight repacks. I couldn't find any info on the web regarding the new republic atack cruiser. Being visually impaired, my sister did the comparing of the new and old versions. She found the pain on the new one to be sharper. It could just be the older toy faded with time.

Keep in mind there may be subtle accidental variations from one release to the next of the same vehicle. Just the nature of the factories.

I say if it isn't an obvious difference (definate colour change or significant battle damage), it's not worth getting. And even then, it's a judgement call for me. I only really care about 1 representation of each vehicle from the OT, so my scope is fairly narrow.

Tell me about it.  Repaints suck. :tongue0024:
It probably makes financial sense for hasbro though.  All they have to do is slap on a different colour paint, come up with a sassy new name and throw it up on shelves for poor saps to buy.

I only care that the TIE Defender is back!

I missed out on the old Action Fleet version, so this one's been on my list for ages. Now i wonder if they'll do more from the game (TIE Avenger, Missile Boat, T-Wing, etc) and maybe from the Legacy comics down the line...who wouldn't want a Titanium version of the Mynock?  :rollfloorlaffsmiley: Or a Predator class TIE? (I think that'd be awesome too for that matter)
