AOTC Sneak Preview Zam, AOTC/Saga Watto
« on: January 18, 2005, 07:00:10 PM »

Attack of the Clones Sneak Preview Zam Wesell is one of three Bounty Hunters in my small collection, the other two being IG-88 (OTC?) and Boba (1995 series). She is relatively well detailed with semi-movable legs that are obviously intended for a single stance. Her head is also movable to a small degree somewhat hampered by the facecloth. Peeking above this her eyes are well painted. The left arm moves at shoulder level, her right arm moves at both shoulder and elbow points. Both hands are in an open position allowing the grip of either rifle or pistol supplied, the rifle grip using both hands. Her separately molded skirt is fairly well painted and includes a usable pistol holster. The pistol is roughly detailed as is the rifle, both could be better. The rifles scope should be more independant. Both are made of easily bendable plastic and may be bent to some degree within the packaging - I prefer the original series weapons, although unpainted at least they were of rigid construction.

Attack of the Clones/Saga Watto is probably the better of the two figures. He comes with a clear stand which must be used to display him in a hovering position. The painting is well detailed which complements the fine moulding of the clothing and skin, although his eyes could have been painted more carefully. His head and legs are the only fully movable parts, his arms are seperate but offer little movement. The "fluttering" wings are very effective making him a great addition to any display. :-*
I will take you to Jabba now...
