I forgot to mention that the doctors believed his behaviour was due to the tumour and the medication was acting as a pain releiver that is why I told the whole massive story leading up to the tumour.

From the end of his radiation to now we watched him get stronger and fill out wieght wise he now has no trouble walking no trouble talking his speech has actually improved (it was also being looked at before) and he is just like a regular kid he is not on any medication and just passed senior kindergarten and is ready to go into grade 1 in sept. We still have some issues with his behaviour but nothing like before and he is managable now. From the front you wouldn't even know he was sick the back of his head is bald and could prolly stay that way for life due to the radiation but if that is the worst of it we can live with that any day.

Hey Dylan,

Thats awesome news, best wishes to you and your family.  :)

That picture of Gibson smiling still brings a tear to my eyes. As I mentioned before, I am very happy to be a part of the many people that made a donation.  :-*

Wow, I didn't know the story either. I knew something was wrong but thats it.

As I was reading it, I could feel a tear coming to my eye. That is so sad. But I am happy that he is coming back to being a  healthy lil boy. And what your cousin, and every one else did, was amaizing.

And he does look happy in that last pic.

Dylan,

Fantastic news, and I hope you have a great trip down South, and to you and your family I wish you the brightest of futures. In a time of many troubles, big and small, you present us with a story of courage and love to touch many of our hearts that should remind even the most cynical of us that the innocence and honesty of childhood is a gift you only have but once and we should all take some time to reflect on his plight and ponder this as a child would and say to ourselves...."you know it's no big deal, I can do this, for I am loved.
I know I will, and I Thank You dearly for this update, this news makes the world a better place than it was yesterday.

Good Luck and All the Best my friend.    :-*

Wow. I'm a dad as well, with a daughter who's just turning 6 in August along with a 3 year old boy. Kids are wonderful, but there's something extra special about your own kids, isn't there? Your story, Moogly, is very touching and emotional - but what really got me was trying to put myself i your shoes..... my God, man, the fear and pain you two must have felt is just unholy.

That being said, let me pass on my heartfelt BEST WISHES and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! to you, your wife and most of all the Little Man smiling in the pics. Have an excellent time at Disney - I'll be thinking of you and your son while I'm with my kids at the California park next week.  :-*

And damn right he should have opened that vinty CCP, what the heck's a kid going to do with a toy in the package?  ;D

Once again, all the best. I really hope he's through the woods for good.

I had no clue about your situation and I am very glad to hear that things are looking on the up and up! I cannot imagine the emotions that you and your wife have been going through prior to, during and after everything. As a father of a 3 year old myself I know that I want to make my sons life as safe as possible. I am overwhelmingly touched by your strength, as well as your family's. Makes me really think that the things that are of most importance are those that we are closest to. I hope the best for your family and thank all the specialists that have made your situation possible, healthcare should be the #1 agenda and its reasons like this that make that a concrete fact!
Thank you for sharing your best day with me and with all of us. It's very inspirational.

Wow.  Dylan, I can't even imagine what you and your wife must have gone through during all of this.  I've got a 3 year old daughter who is the center of my universe and the most important thing is to know she is healthy.
Nothing beats that smile.   :D
