One last update: I picked up another Obi Pilot and was relieved to see that this one could stand on his own (after bending him forward somewhat).

I still find that out of all the SA figures this one seems to be less stable and easier to fall backwards; I have to keep him hunched over which I'm not so happy about but hey better than nothing. Might still stick a tiny and very thin adhesive pad onto the heels so that the backside of the heels will touch the surface more completely.

Now come on Hasbro, give us an Evolutions Obi pack...

after going through this thread i just had to pick up another one (got one carded for my ROTS collection) to crack open as i don't have a loose obi to display, a very nice figure indeed!

and from what i've seen today, this is going to be a repack for one the 'separation of the twins' exclusives.

I spotted an Obi-Wan pilot and picked it up today.  It was my second one, but I hadn't opened the first as I wanted to have one carded.  So, today I had the pleasure of opening this beauty, and am impressed.  The articulation is great, and the sculpt is excellent.  So far, I have not had a problem standing him :winking0071:

The only minor gripe I have with him is that his foot doesn't totally fit on a foot peg, the hole is too shallow, and I also wish they made the joint in the ankle the same colour as his boot.  Other than that, it's a great figure.

i agree with Woo on this one.  i just recently bought some of those clear stands for my loose figures and was disappointed that i couldn't put this great Obi Wan figure on any of them. the hole is found in the middle of the foot rather than at the heel as with other figures, maybe due the the articulation in the ankles.  the hole is too shallow for the peg to fit in.

still an awsome figure nonetheless.
