Title: Is Walmart USA carrying Star Wars ?
Post by: Canadian Jedi on August 25, 2019, 12:46:08 PM
I am just down in Florida and went to a local Walmart which is a Superstore and they do not have a Star Wars section.  They only Star Wars Hasbro figures are in the clearance section - about 6.  I have never seen this before - no pegs for Star Wars.   Has Walmart decided to not carry them anymore?

You should try some of the discount stores around - apparently they are getting them all!

No Lando exclusives at the WalMart??? I was hoping I'd find him when I went over next month. :(

I was just in the USA about 2 weeks ago. Around that time, I started poking around on some Facebook groups to find out what to expect.
According to what I read (and observed when I got to NY) was that Walmarts were resetting for Force Friday. So, *everything* was on deep clearance. One walmart I went to was completely cleared out except for some runt Black Series figures for $4.
The other I went to still had a Star Wars section. Picked up the Solo Kessel playset which I was pleased to find, but also found Vintage and Resistance figures on clearance. Another couple days and I think they'd be all empty too.

So, yeah, I think until October, there could be slim picking-to-nothing at Walmart in the States

For what it's worth, Target had lots of stuff and so did 5-Below.
