Oh boy. I don't like that. Breaking the $30 by even a little bit makes people think even harder before spending. This is a pretty nice wave of figures though.

Yes, I saw this in one of the Walmart stores yesterday.  Not liking this at all!

It will be interesting to see if TRU matches them on the NEW styles coming later this spring.

It's also on Marvel Legends and other Hasbro 6" that was $29.97. :(

It's not a problem for me. I stopped to collect the 6 inch since 2 years. Too expensive, too complicated to get and too many exclusive impossible to find.

Hasbro makes products, but it's kind of quest for customers to find them.

The day hasbro stops Vintage collection, it's the end for me.

I only collect Bespin-themed ESB characters in 6" so that's one way to avoid buying too many. I recently decided to pick up the 6" Mandalorian figures largely due to lack of anything in 3 3/4" scale.

If Hasbro wanted to ensure that I didn't pick up anything else, this is a good way to do it :-/

That's a very tight focus - I'm impressed with your resolve. I started as "OT Imperials only" then somehow that got expanded to "any Hoth related figures" and I've finally settled on "Any OT Imperials but also anything from ESB and maybe Jedi Luke when he goes on sale."  :rollfloorlaffsmiley:

Black Series isn't the only line to have increased in price. Galaxy of Adventures 5" are now $14.97 at Walmart. While some pegs still show $12.97, there are newly priced pegs right next to them, and the old figures are scanning at the new price. Next up, TVC most likely.

Geez. $15 for basic figures. I can't see how a non-collector line can survive with prices like that. Don't seem competitive at all. Even Lego Brickheads and their small ~70 piece sets are less than $15. What kid's gonna spend $15 on that kind of action figure. This is not a good look for Hasbro.

I picked up the vader 5" figure for $7 a little while ago. It's actually really nice and the line is really nice. Just not for me. And if the target audience is supposed to be kids, then $15 is not going to cut it.

As for Black series, I have been collecting OT and the odd other if I get them on sale. That will be reduced to OT only. And even then, maybe if only on sale.

Vintage OT I'm in no matter what, but they're so few and far between now, I won't be spending much anyways.
