Wouldn't surprise me. Pegs are so clogged with old stock in my local stores. I don't know when we'll see anything new. Vintage, black series, 5poa...  Doesn't matter the pegs are stuffed. TRU hasn't even been carrying new black series other than exclusives in over a year.

Could get harder and harder to collect in Canada at regular retail. Which means more expensive. I still rely on regular retail and their sale prices to offset the crazy high regular prices and the occasions I have to pay full price. Going full retail all the time becomes very expensive. Especially if you have to order from the US and pay shipping and maybe customs fees. I miss Legends since they were very reasonable and reliable.

Nice :)

I forgot to mention a pretty cool item my wife sought out - an 8 disc cd set of the original Star Wars radio drama put on my national public radio a good few years (pre-prequels, if I'm not mistaken).

They added a good number of scenes, including Leia with Bail on Alderaan.... nothing that completely collides with modern canon so it was a great listen! Thanks, Jodi!!! <3
Yeah the radio dramas are great. Especially the first one since there were so many additional scenes. Lucas sold the rights to NPR for a dollar and gave them full access to all the music and sound effects so it was really well done. Radio dramas seem to be a lost art these days. Very different from watching TV or a movie. I found I interesting how they translated something as visually exciting as star wars into an audio only medium. It's a bit clunky at times but overall well done and a lot of fun.

Merry Christmas everyone. I got some star wars ziploc containers for Christmas.  That's it for star wars for me but I'm happy with that. Most importantly had a great day with family. ☺

Hope everyone else here had a great day as well.

Dengar is back to 29.99 and "in stock on Dec 29". Mine has yet to ship but I'm guessing it will on Dec 29.

Just look at the At-St, it's still $79.97 and still never went on sale.  They just seem out of touch regarding stock sometimes.

I've been watching this too. Mind boggling.

Dengar and the rest of his wave are available on right now. Just ordered dengar so I'm basically done with black series for a while. ☺

Amazon just cancelled my order for the prototype tie fighter. They haven't canceled my orders for any of the other prototype ships... yet.

Really annoying. Have these surfaced anywhere in Canada? And how plentiful have they been in the US?

Not impressed with hot wheels distribution in my experiences. Anytime they pique my interest ( pop culture cars, various time) it is virtually impossible to find what I am looking for. Worse than hasbro.

Isn't Next wave

Han Solo (Mudtrooper)
Vice Admiral Holdo
Mace Windu
Dryden Vos
Padme (Genosis)
Battle Droid

I guess if you are only after the OT stuff...  Some good figs in there (I like them all except maybe Vos.)
Yup, complete skip for me. Most of my non-OT black series figures were obtained on clearance. Occasionally I'll get one if it's a really nice figure. Nice to see some prequel love for prequel fans though. They've been really under represented in 6". And it gives my wallet a break.

« on: December 11, 2018, 11:27:43 AM » let me place an order for Dengar, saying they'll have more in stock on December 13th. We shall see. Leia didn't have the
same option but I'll keep trying.

That nice to be able to do that. I just see the ones available from third party sellers. I can't purchase dengar from amazon themselves. Would be nice to get that ordered. Then I'll be done with black series for a while. Next wave will be a complete skip for me if the rumoured list is correct.

Amazing, vintage collection Snoke is down to $ 5.26 now. He's been creeping lower and lower over the past few weeks. Wonder how low he can go.

The initial rumors just stated "Bespin Leia" so there was speculation it was going to be bespin gown but it ended up being bespin escape.

I find bespin escape just different enough (vest, boots, hair, gloves), but would have preferred bespin gown.

Thanks for the heads up. Dengar is already sold out and Lando "limited stock". I managed to get an order in for the two.

Finally received my 4-LOM. Only took a couple weeks for Canada Post to deliver in one of the weirdest routes.

Amazon actually sourced my 4-LOM from Chattanooga Tennessee! According to tracking it started there. Went to Brownstone Michigan. Then it appeared in Montreal. Sat there for a few days then appeared in London. Then a few days later at the Mississauga sorting plant and out for delivery a day later.

Koodos to Amazon for coming through on my item but jeez what a shipping route!

Wow is right. This came out of nowhere. Sounds pretty cool. Star Wars adventures in the OT era!

I love television as a medium, so I'm pretty excited to see live action star wars finally coming to TV, in not just one but two series.

I still remember getting my POTF2 Falcon from 1995 sometime in 1998 or 1999. I was originally skipping vehicles, and then changed my mind. But by then, the Falcons were all gone in most stores. But Canadian Tire had one. Can often count on Canadian Tire for outdated toys!! :)
