So far I've managed to get my hands on new Klaatu Skiff & Yak Face, thanks to a US friend in Cleveland. Really hoping against hope we'll get a chance to get the rest of these into our collections without so much friction, but..... that hope is fading. I've started pricing out Jabba's sets on ebay & it's really ugly.  :fighting0003:

Glad to read about some new finds! Nada for me lately, but you've given me hope....  :r2d2:

PS - Happy Belated Birthday JJReason!😀👍🎂

Thank you! Between Avengers, Game of Thrones, Free Comic Book Day & whatever the hell else has been going on... turning 47 wasn't too bad. :D

I would say she's the closest thing they've got to a superman. For my money, a Captain Marvel 2 movie using the "Secret Invasion" story line would be one of the best ways Marvel could go in their post Thanos MCU.

It was a very good movie that finished & provided closure to what an excellent, dark, set up movie set in motion. We have seen this before.  ;)

JP - Capt. Marvel came back & single handedly blasted Thanos' ship out of the sky, turning the battle finally in favour of the heroes. I'm really not sure what more they could have done to show her power.....

CJ - Thanos threw Gamora off the cliff in part 1 to get the (orange) Soul Stone. The Gamora that appeared in this movie was from the past, 7 years or something before that was supposed to have taken place. This is an unresolved plot point that they can choose to explore in Guardians 3 if they want to.

Might be worth exploring how much it would cost to track that package with the Hasbro-provided label.... just in case.

100 percent agree on the "no costume, just a wookie" sentiment. I finally DID have an outer-body experience watching A New Hope not too long ago - I actually saw it through "non nerd" eyes just briefly.... but it was the metallic robot talking that triggered, not the Wookie (sorry, Anthony.....).

There were 100 new SW cards on the card trader app for May 3rd :)

I'm hitting up Free Comic Book Day today as well, but will be choosing Avengers & Spider-Man over Star Wars. Some times life calls for tough choices.  :(

jjreason ,  I have not seen it yet or read this thread.  But I did go and see Shazam.  This was one of my favourite characters growing up as a kid.

I remember liking it too - but the only story I've ready in comic form was a short series or graphic novel by Jeff Smith (of "Bone" fame). Was it a cartoon or something in the late 70's/early 80's?

It felt too forced is my only criticism. If it had seemed more natural & the ladies had kinda realized they were doing it together & high fived or something, I think it would have served the same purpose. The more they hit the audience over the head, the less meaningful or something. Loved Captain Marvel showing up like she did though - wow!

It was an absolutely great & exhausting episode. Based on the blizzard & darkness, I could hardly see what was happening at certain points. Very glad it worked out the way it did, as soon as it did - we still have 3 episodes left to resolve the Iron Throne.

Hound vs Mountain for the fate of the universe!  :party0007: :party0007: :party0007:

Well I won't be the one to post plot points first, just impressions.

I loved it. It covered off everything I wanted to see. Totally thrilled with how they left things after the first 20 or so movies. 11/10 from JJ.  :love0030: :love0030: :love0030:

I was of the understanding the informal street date for that wave was April 1st, to coincide closely with Barge deliveries & the exclusive Skiff Lando (US Walmart) - I've only had one US friend a report of finding any of these at retail so far (Cleveland, Ohio area). Since they haven't hit big down there yet, I'm still hoping against hope that WalMart, EB & TRU will all see this wave, at least in limited amounts. With EPIX stuff due in October, it's very possible the big retailers have blown their 2019 Star Wars budgets on preordering too much of that stuff & that we'll miss it.

Where would they all have gone? It's hard for me to imagine Kaia Boutique in Quebec selling through Canada's entire allotment of TVC figures from the Yak Face wave. Maybe I'm na´ve.
