EB Games also pushed back the release date for the BS 6 inch new packaging assortment until October maybe it's a Hasbro distribution issue.

Also the VC Power Droid is supposed to be released tomorrow for orders through EB Games. No mention of the other figures in the wave. I'm sure the VC Power Droid will be pushed back a few days or longer too.

I was just at my local Toys R Us store today at lunch and they had the Black Series Snowspeeder in-stock. Please see the provincial forums for the location.

I hate to say it...but I believe EB Games has dropped a lot of the earlier pre-order pick-up orders. I didn't get my in-store pick-ups for the following:

Retro Hoth Game with exclusive Luke snowspeeder outfit
Black Series The Child  (Baby Yoda)
Hasbro Talking Baby Yoda with bowl and frog.
Black Series Snowspeeder

(I'm sad!)

Did anyone who ordered the Black Series Snowspeeder from EB Games receive theirs yet?....either by home delivery or in-store pick-up? Haven't heard anything yet....and I believe the release date was June 21st (as per their website).

My Luke (Snowspeeder) has creasing from the peg hole down the centre of the card as well. This happened with my Tarkin from Escape From Death Star Game. The creasing seems to be a factory defect for both games.

Hi fellow collectors....I traveled north this weekend to the cottage and passed by the Barrie North Walmart as they had 33 of the 42 Retro figures in stock and figured I could pick up a set for another fellow collector looking for them. When I got there, all 7 Boba Fetts were out of the 9 missing figures from the display, all 7 Boba Fetts gone. I picked up the other 5 which brought the total number down to 28 on stock tracker. So I'm here to call out the person who bought up all 7 Boba Fetts, you should be ashamed of yourself. If anyone sees Boba Fetts on ebay from the Barrie or Orillia area, ...or surrounding area, don't buy them. Sorry kids...but it pisses me off! So if you are reading this Mr/Ms Scalper...I wish you all the worst of luck in the near future.

In fact...anyone selling these on ebay within Canada at inflated prices, as they just came out recently in limited display quantities, should be ashamed. Don't buy them off eBay guys!

Wampa Cave / Canada Post Parcel Delivery Delays: A Star Wars Story
« on: June 09, 2020, 05:12:23 PM »
Hello fellow collectors!

I just thought I would vent my frustrations with Canada Post right now.  I get it that there is a Pandemic....I get it they are social distancing at the sorting facilities....what I don't get is how disorganised from a customer perspective they are at processing & delivering parcels during this time within a reasonable time. The delays I'm experiencing (and probably most of you) are beyond comprehension right now. Who the heck is organizing things there???  Nobody by the looks of things.

This is what I'm waiting on:
1. Parcel shipping from Entertainment Earth, left the USA for Canada on May 25th, has yet to processed by Canada Post  (heck I will gladly pay any duties and taxes just for a tracking update)....waiting over 2 weeks.
2. Parcel shipping from Mississauga ON, which is being shipped to my home address in Mississauga ON, shipment was picked up on May 29, was processed yesterday June 08, yet to go out for delivery. (took 10 days to process it through the Mississauga facility)
3. Parcel shipping form Montreal QC, left Montreal in transit on June 02, yet to be processed in Mississauga ON at the Mississauga facility. (7 days in transit...really?)
4. Another parcel shipping from Mississauga ON, picked up by Canada Post on June 01, has yet to be processed through the Mississauga facility (really 8 days and still not processed, it's in the same flippin' city!)
5. Parcel coming from Oshawa ON, shipment received by Canada Post on June 03, yet to be processed at Mississauga facility. (6 days processed at the post office, doesn't even show in transit to Mississauga facility.)
6. Parcel shipping from Mississauga ON, which was picked up on June 06 by Canada Post and delivered today (June 09) YAY!!! I got one........I just don't understand how this one got processed and delivered before the others.

All are medium to large packages....nothing overly huge.  All are Expedited Parcel....and 1 USA international parcel to Canada.

This is absolutely disgusting on Canada Post's part!!!

(I need my toys now.)

My store closed for Covid right as the preorders were being delivered. No idea if mine ever got to the store or if they have saved it for me. I sure hope they have.
When stores re-open, will I be able to pick-up my pre-order?

Absolutely. We will hold your reservation until our stores re-open, and you will receive any applicable pre-order bonus items at that time.

Please note that the item you pre-ordered may not be available in store immediately when our stores re-open, as all new inventory is currently being stored at our Distribution Centre. After stores re-open, we will ship the item you pre-ordered to the store where you made the reservation, and one of our associates will contact you by telephone when your order is ready for pick-up.

If you would like to receive the item you pre-ordered now, please feel free to place a new order at (where stock is available) and we will ship the item directly to your home with contactless delivery. When our stores re-open, you will have the opportunity to cancel your pre-order, move your pre-order deposit (if applicable) to another product purchase, or cancel your pre-order and receive a refund for your pre-order deposit (if applicable).

Scout Report / Black Series 40th ESB Anniversary Figures
« on: April 27, 2020, 01:54:47 PM »
I ordered 2 cases/sets of the 40th Anniversary wave 1 figures. They arrived today. I opened the cases up and I'm disappointed....why?..because of the return of 'Bubblegate'.
Both AT-AT Driver bubbles were separating from the cards....and one of my Leias is starting to separate on one corner. UGH!

Does anyone remember the original price of the BS Probe Droid at EB Games?

Scout Report / Re: Juggernaught Toys
« on: April 05, 2020, 10:46:32 PM » it's been nearly 6 months since I haven't had any contact with Juggernaut toys....I'm very disappointed. Looks like I'm out $92.00 for a prepaid pending order. They should just take down their website.

I've heard good things about anyone know if your credit card is charged right away when you preorder from them?

I was so excited to find a single BS Yavin Luke on the was the only one I wanted as it has the corrected spelling of Skywalker on the box...Yay!

Liability was more on the hotel than the organizer. They made sure there wasn't more than 250 people in the show at one time. But the reality was, there was probably no more than 80 people if that in the room. There were hardly any Star Wars collectors stopping by my tables that I ended up closing up shop and leaving after 3hrs. Believe me social distancing was not an issue.

UPDATE: I have spoken with the organizer personally, and as per their Facebook page, the toy show is still a GO!  There are approximately 50-60 tables as of yesterday. Due to current COVID-19 situation, it would be nice for those people visiting the show that you practice safe hygiene (wash/sanitize hands frenquently, don't shake hands, etc.),...and if you see an item you are interested in, that you consult the vendor prior to touching/handling an item from their table. Please respect the vendor's decision to limit handling of items.  My understanding is there will be some hand sanitizer on hand provided by the hotel. I will have some at my table and I may ask my regulars to sanitize their hands prior to handling items on my table.  This is to make sure your experience and my experience are as safe as possible.  Also, if you feel sick in anyway, please stay home.  Let's have a safe and fun toy show.

ToyConís March 15th show will feature some unique vendors, exhibitors, artists and cosplayers.  The Canadian ToyCon is a convention that focuses on action figures, comics, collectibles, toys, figurines, dolls, artwork and more from the 70ís, 80ís, 90ís and today.

Sunday, March 15th, 2020 10am to 3pm

Admission: $5.00

Got a call from my local EB Games just Black Series Jedi Knight Revan and Stormtrooper Commander are ready for pick-up. Yay!

The Black Series Stormtrooper Commander and packaging are awesome, instead of the 'red and black' box, it's a 'royal blue and black' box.  The Black Series Jedi Knight Revan is a great figure as well.  I never ordered the Heavy Battle Droid....didn't want the figure.
