Online Shopping - Who's Got the Hot Items??? / Re:

Similar experience here! Very quick in responding as well.

My only complaint isn't even really against the store, but more Hasbro's distribution in general. Some pre-orders have been delayed a few months due to Hasbro cutting back on early shipments to him, and/or just flat out delaying stuff. But he is good at communicating those to you when asked, and also posts timely updates to his Facebook page. Seems to be a problem across the board, especially for smaller shops. Just the times we're in right now!

I know this is an Amazon thread, and I don't like to pile on, but I have to say I'm getting more and more tired of JTA. If it wasn't for Thomas' more analytical articles, I would likely have stopped visiting there as little as I already do. I used to like Paul's enthusiasm, but his articles are just one negative rant after another now. And he's no better in the comments threads, where he makes sure to remind everyone that he still hasn't watched a single episode of The Mandalorian. He complains all day long about how Disney isn't giving the fans what they want, and then when they give us exactly what we want he doesn't even watch it. Yakface has taken over as my to check for figure news.

No one has gotten called about 3.75" TVC Boba on skiff card yet? I preordered that but am not sure as to when it might be coming.

I don't think that's due out til spring. EB's website says March 1, kinda seems like a placeholder date. Entertainment Earth says May, but their dates are usually a month behind when they show up at retail. So I'd say March/April.

I know what I don't want however - an animated series for kids featuring Grogu's silly eating antics & a frustrated teacher Luke. I want a story with gravitas & growing tension between Kylo & Luke if anything.

This. Though there's probably room for both in their proper place.

I'd prefer if they just completely ignore the ST films and the entire timeline around that era. Don't try to write over them or change the timeline. Just develop the post-ROTJ time period, and any era before that (KOTOR, Clone Wars, rebellion, etc), and then also jump ahead a century or so (a la the Legacy comics). Don't even reference the events of the ST films.

They did say that the different Mandalorian-related series are all building towards an event. As others have said, hopefully it is a Thrawn event. It would be awesome if they could do something like the original Thrawn trilogy, just with some different details. They'd have to drop some aspects like the Solo kids (maybe have Ben being born or something, but I'd rather just ignore that as stated above). I'd love if they could finally bring in Mara Jade, Talon Karrde, and other smugglers - maybe introduce them as part of the Rangers of the New Republic series. Bring out a more powerful Imperial Remnant. Make it an epic 6 or 8 episode event that could tie up all those different series, and then hopefully serve as a springboard forward into a new group of characters and adventures.

I've also seen a dubious rumour that they're working on a Luke series. I think it would be neat to make that into a Jedi Academy series. Either something like the Jedi Academy novel trilogy or the young-adult series of books. Not so much the actual plots, but the premise - Luke gathering a core group of students, with the plot revolving around their training, interactions, assignments and adventures, and having to deal with the inevitable threats that arise. It would be a more ensemble cast than just being Luke-centric.

I met him at Niagara Falls Comic Convention a few years ago. I was getting some autographs for friends - wish I'd gotten one for myself now too! He was such a warm and friendly guy, with a great wit and sense of humour. He took the time to chat for a couple minutes, making loving jokes about his wife. It was great to meet both of them.

RIP Mr. Bulloch - the Original Mandalorian!

It would be neat if Disney was able to edit a note in to tonight's episode in his honour.

It's not on their site yet, but the Target Exclusive Mandalorian Build Up pack is coming to TRU.  SKN 501406 and price is $54.99.

Hoping it shows up in December so I can use my $10 off of $50 purchase on it.

It's on the site now. Just a placeholder:

One rumour I've seen for release date is Boxing Day.

I saw on Rebelscum that someone found a display at Wal-Mart somewhere in Canada that is full of new VC figures like Din Djarin with the child, Incinerator Trooper and more, as well as the Black Series Christmas Snowtrooper. Has anyone here actually spotted this? It almost seems too good to be true. Anyway, I checked the Wal-Mart closest to me and there was nothing. Has anyone else seen this?

That sighting was in Ottawa, I saw the pic on another forum. I know someone in Montreal area that has also seen them. Not sure how widespread they are yet.

The 6" version of the Din & Child 2pk has also been spotted out in BC at TRU now.

So, people don't want the Haslab Razor Crest anymore because it's blown up in-universe, but they were OK with buying the Barge... that's also blown up in-universe? And was on screen for far less time? I know, it's just jokes (mostly). I'm happy to have been able to buy both. Either way, it's a cool vehicle. I'm betting Mando replaces it somehow with the same model.

The pricing is so completely nuts. That's $95 after tax. I paid $135 for the 6" Snowspeeder, and that was when it was new, not on clearance or anything. It is 10x the toy that this completely repainted release is. Total cash-in Baby Yoda money-grab from Amazon, as if they didn't already make enough billions this year.

I am just happy that it's just a very scene-specific figure, with nothing new that I don't already have. I'll wait til the price drop to half like most Amazon exclusives end up at, if I buy it at all.

I just received delivery of my TVC Incinerator Troopers from my Walmart pre-order. So they should be showing up in stores pretty soon - if they're showing up at all. They shipped them in a box that was way too small, luckily the cards were mostly just curled so I should be able to salvage 1 mint to be my MOC copy.

Just received my 6" Armorer and Cad Bane from Toy Snowman. This was my 2nd ever order with him and as before it was a perfectly smooth process. Really appreciate the text notices with updates throughout - it's nice to be in the loop. Packaged well, happy to pay the little bit more for the peace of mind knowing I've got these in-demand figures. Thanks!

Ordered today, #22374

Anyone pre order in Ontario what final total work out too really tempted and I still kick myself for not getting the sail barge

For Ontario it is $429.38 USD. Same as the Alberta breakdown above, but with $30.40 PST added.
