Wow, that was quick.  They have placed it on hold and will ship it out until later for me.  By the way YAKFACE comes in the same box.

Just figured out I won't be around when they ship it.  Just trying to figure out if I can get them to hold shipping it to me.  Hasbro is trying to see if they can do it.   Not sure how long FEDEX will hold on to it before they ship it back to sender.  At least we know who will be the last person to receive the BARGE.  :P

If these are the final product, it's funny that the cards appear to be scarred/beaten-up.

That's just the new standard for packaging at HASBRO - either bent like hell or extreme shelf wear .  This new standard allows Amazon or Walmart to take your carded figures and stuff them in an envelop and you will no longer be able to return the item for product damage.

If the made exact duplicates on exact duplicate cards - I would buy at least 1 of each.   I don't have vintage figures on card backs so I would be interested in this.   I would rather see Hasbro sell these direct to us like the Vintage Sail Barge.

I saw the Resistance 2-packs at my local Walmart yesterday.  I think they were $17.99.
I also saw a few of the new Archive 6" figures there - Luke, Boba Fett and IG-88.  The coloring of the droid was different than the original black series - more metallic paint applied.

Found all 4 archive figures at my local Walmart too.
Found the same here in Durham aswell.  Canadian Jedi, and Subcoolin I left a email to both of you regarding these.  :u:

Sorry to hear about your furnace Ross.   When we were all over someone mentioned whether you had ever had to get in at the furnace.   The evil furnace gods must have been listening .    Glad to hear the heat is back on.

JJ, you are actually on to exactly what is going on.   The Sandcrawler was just a test to see what kind of demand Disney could get and sell through their regular channels.  Also you may have noticed Mattel no longer has the DC license .   For those of you who have been following the conversations on the darknet, it is clear the conspiracy that Disney Corporate Executives are trying to unleash on the unknowing public.   The closure of TOYSRUS in the states, the lack of a DC Liciense by Mattel,  Ima Lying publicly admitting that Hasbro is no longer making 3.75" figures it all adds up to Disney trying to have complete control of the Toy market and we will only be able to purchase MARVEL toys and 3.75" Star Wars toys from Disney Stores at highly inflated prices. Damn you George - the Empire is upon us.  At least we will all have our Sail Barges to sail off into the sunset in as the era of 3.75" figures by Hasbro ends.

"In order to reduce cost by 25% we are changing to a 2.8125" scale for all figures and vehicles.  We have decided to go with a smaller scale to save money and to ensure all figures could be used in existing vehicles and play sets.  Although the figures will appear to be Hobbit size in relationship to existing figures this move will help ensure the continuation of the small scale sets for the foreseeable future.  "  - Ima Lying, Head of International & Domestic Marketing Hasbro

"Talks to fish is his super power"  .....this comment from a guy who likes his super power people to be locked in a robot outfit or a guy with a hammer.   :P

What I like about what DC is doing with the introduction of each of the Characters is that they all come off as being equally as powerful as other members of the Justice Hall League.
Superman, Batman, Aquaman and Wonder Woman are all really powerful .   Aquaman did as good as I think you can with movie that has to have a lot of CGI in it.  And the music scenes are probably the best in cinematic history .  The flute playing alone is worth the price of admission compared to any Marvel Movie.  :party0007:

Happy New Year jj, I have missed teasing you.

Your buddy always CJ

Those figures were in good condition and plentiful closer to Walden Galleria Mall just before Christmas, if you are down there and want to make an exchange.

Aquaman is easily the best Superhero movie of the year.   Obviously better than anything Marvel has ever produced - all combined x100.   I think the best comparative movie would be Black Panther.   Everyone in the family liked Aquaman.  Best part after of course the flute playing, was when he was a little kid and the other kids were picking on him.   Both my daughter and I thought after the princess gave her long name and then said but you can call me .....she should have said  "Ariel"  with that green outfit and really red hair.   The theatre I was in everyone clapped at the end.   And the political aspect of the movie were right on point with what the world is dealing with in term of all the garbage going into the sea.   Rottentomatoes - 65%

Bumble Bee , it is OK but at the end of the day it is just another Transformer movie.  If you like them you will like this movie.  If you are getting board of them, skip it for now but give it a try for rental, because it was written by a woman and not directed by Michael Bay so it is definitely a different movie.   Rottentomatoes - 93%

Regarding the Rottentomatoes scores I really don't put much value in them now.  I think reviewers are being paid off or the system is being manipulated by outside forces.  A couple years ago I used to put a fair amount of trust in the score.  Now I find the rating to be completely wrong.   I liked both movies I saw, but no way is Bumble Bee a 93% and no way is Aquaman a 65%.  I would probably give Bumble Bee 75-80% and Aquaman 85-90%.
