Buy houses, pimp them

I did.  I pimped the basement out with packaged Star Wars toys and they look great.  And the ones that didn't look great i made them look great.

I appreciate them both as collectibles and art (mass-produced as it is).  It's my hobby.   How dare you try and tell me how to enjoy it?

Got my Jumptrooper yesterday. Somehow they forgot to call me when it first came in.  Good thing I checked last week and they were able to transfer one from another store so I finally got him yesterday.

I hope this thing isn't hard to get.  I'd prefer on this one that it got overproduced and I could get a whole whack of them on sale.

So far, it doesn't look good in that regard.

That looks great!  Where did you get the soft goods from?

BARGE AHOY!

My kids fit in both the outer and secondary boxes.  They are 11 and 15 years old.  I could ship them to another country in this thing like a Looney Tunes cartoon!

Both outer boxes have marks, dangs and some minor damages, but hopefully things inside are okay. Will check later tonite. One's for Darth Mink, took almost 20 minutes to fit it in his car, what a HUGE box!!!

It'll be fine.  My box had a couple spots like that too, but the secondary box was fine and the inner box was mint.

Well, I guess my days productivity is shot.  Lol  :P

Same here.  I normally work from home on Mondays so that's perfect for me but I'm considering putting on 4 layers of clothing and working on my front porch so I don't miss it!

Trip to the Gym is also cancelled (unless I get it before then) :)

Yes in an astounding feat, the tracking number has been sent, only to tell me it's coming today!

Not leaving the house!

I sent an email to customer service - their response was that the email with tracking should come in the next 24-48 hours

Hey Guys....enough of the shipping rumours. ...we paid Provincial taxes when we originally paid for the barges...not State taxes....they will ship from within Canada once they cross whatever border they are coming in from.

I suggest patience....

Agreed.  Although you don't pay State taxes when you buy from the US.  But it would be illegal for them to charge 13% HST tax and then also charge import duties.

According to other sources (Facebook group We Backed the Barge), the reason they are not in the Longeuil warehouse is that they are shipping out of California.

Solo (2018-???) / Re: Kassel Run 3.75" Falcon $65 @ Amazon.ca
« on: March 12, 2019, 06:50:29 PM »
Yes, it's definitely the least impressive of the 3.75" Falcons,  I was waiting for the sale because I've picked up all the other 3.75" Falcons up to this point so I figured why quit now. We really reached a high water mark for Hasbro SW toy quality (at a reasonable price) back in the 2004 to 2012 range.

For 3.75" stuff - yes.

Scout Report / Re: RedShift 7 - Anyone order from them before?
« on: March 04, 2019, 06:34:05 PM »
I've mentioned them in various threads - had nothing but good experiences with Redshift7.

The only cons are :

1) You pay for your pre-order right away, as opposed to when it ships
2) They put up their pre-orders very, very early for a Canadian e-tailer, and get the figures after they are generally available in Canada.   This can be good or bad.  For example, I've had my wave 19 stuff for some time and never, EVER even seen it at Wal-mart or EBGames, short of a single Val.   Even though this wave barely showed up, I got my wave 19 back in mid-December.

Everything else is a huge plus.  Good prices.  Friendly, responsive staff. Good knowledge of the product.  Understands MIB/MOC collectors (will try and ship anything he gets pre-dinged to people who are opening anyway).

Basically, if you have any patience at all are are sick of toy-hunting at retail, IMHO Redshift is the best we have right now.

Has anyone received an email yet saying that their Barge has shipped?

As I said in the barge thread - Canada isn't getting theirs shipped until March 14th
