Wampa Cave / Sideshow
« on: January 15, 2018, 06:43:42 PM »
While I know we have a section for Sideshow producets if this could be left here and then moved later it would be appreciated.  So I was just on Sideshows webpage and noticed that things were listed in CDN dollars. I thought that  it was a little strange. So, I went onto live chat with them and found out that not only is it true, but it is also going to be a permanent thing.  You will also be able to pay in CDN funds or have the option of switching to US funds

« on: September 06, 2017, 07:04:10 PM »
So, if you haven't hear yet Colin Trevorow has been given the boot from Episode 9. So this is twice now that Disney has turfed its directors on SW movies citing creative differences. What are your thoughts?

« on: June 03, 2017, 07:56:56 PM »
It has finally happened. Walmart has put their Black Series 3.75" figures down to regular retail. I knew that if I held out long enough they would drop their prices to regular retail. Two years later and I finally buy the TFA Leia that so have been wanting.

Wampa Cave / Hasbro Canada
« on: March 05, 2015, 11:43:51 AM »
Alright so I would really like to know what is truely up with HasCan. Ever since I have started collecting (Phantom Menace Line), we have always been screwed on not getting certain waves of figures, be it the last to waves in a line or just skipping a wave and going onto to the next. Now I know the old bs lines of Canada is a smaller market compared to the US, the whole trilingual thingy ( sorry but its only french and english in Canada), but seriously that doesnt excuse it. I also know that it isnt just Star Wars or Hasbro that does this. I can also see the excuse that gets made that the average parent doesn't care about certain waves being missed becuase the average parent isnt a collector but really. Come on this is 2015 not 1999. Technology...  If parents are not going on line and looking things up and going hey maybe that would be a cool thing for my child, but wait I cant find it here in Canada. Or kids going on line and saying hey there's an Ezra figure that I want but can't find it here, mom how come I cant find this here.  I really think that it is time that toy makers take a look at if you want to continue to bring in the almighty dollar from Canadians then you need to sell the same stuff here in Canada as you do in the States. Why do you think Target Canada failed? To further add to it in previous Q&As that we have had with them (not sure if it was HasCan or HasUs) we have told them what some of the issues are ie waves being missed, but yet it still keeps happening.

Star Wars Movies & TV shows / Rebels movie
« on: September 16, 2014, 12:03:16 AM »
So I was in one of my local Disney stores today and they had a sign up saying that there will be a Rebels movie. It is going to air on Friday, October 3 at 9pm et on Family Channel. While I am shocked to hear this(excited),it is too bad that it will not be in theaters like the Clone Wars movie. I am also surprised that this hasn't been mentioned yet

Star Wars Movies & TV shows / Spin off movies
« on: June 04, 2014, 02:22:02 PM »
So we all know that Disney/LFL plans on doing a bunch of Spin off along with Eps7-9. One would guess that they are planning on one being about Boba. So my question is this who would play Boba, Jeremy Bulloch as he is the original ( age/ health maybe a factor as to why he wouldn't), Daniel Logan as he played young Boba in AOTC (age would do if they planned on doing a movie in the time frame between the prequels and OT) or would they use a compleatly different actor, for which they could go post OT? Your thoughts? For me I think Daniel would be the ideal canidate as no matter what time frame they decided to do the movie, he would be able to do it.

Get your Clone gear on as Season 6 of The Clone Wars will be airing on Netflix beginning March 7 2014. As well if yoy have missed anything from the other 5 seasons they will also be aired on Netflix. There will also be other Star Wars, Marvel,Disney/Pixar shows to be aired in the future on Netflix. This was announed in USA Today an mentioned on twitter by James Arnold Taylor

Edited: Added a bit to the title. - jj

Wampa Cave / Toys R US & Star Wars
« on: July 03, 2013, 11:11:52 PM »
So I go into my local TRU tonight and go wandering over to the SW aisle and nothing is there. I'm like wtf, so I walk around for a little and finally found where they put SW. It has all been crammed into this tiny little space about two isles over. Has this happened to any other TRUs out there? The other question is where do they plan on putting the Black Series when it starts rolling out soon ( the old section was an entire one side of the aisle)
