Here’s a heads up on tomorrow’s deal at EB Games. All VOTC figures are only $5 each. Unfortunately my local store has only Snokes and Rey on the pegs. Maybe you will do better in your area?

It’s extremely cold and snowy in sunny Mississauga this morning and to top it off, our furnace packed it in on Friday!
We can’t get it replaced until Monday so we have the fireplace and three heaters going full time to keep the temperature above 18 inside. Wish I had a Tauntaun to crawl into. 3

Here is a heads up for tomorrow's special $5 items. They are offering all stock in the six inch Black Series - Regular $30 for $5 each!!
My store had Tobias Beckett, Val. L3-37, Qi'ra, Tarkin, Bespin Han and a few others. There was also a Thrawn but the box was damaged. If you cant get in for store opening, try calling them to put any away for purchase later in the day. 4

CT has a number of Star Wars items on sale today. One group I noted was six inch Rogue One Scarif Leader Trooper, C-3PO with red arm, Jyn, Captain Cassian, Director Krennic and others...all $9.99 ea.

My wife bought me one of these at Longo's here in Mississauga today. It's an insulated lunch bag, with zippered top, complete with light and sounds when you push the button - on sale for $12.97. I think it is kind of neat and I am sure my grand kids will like to play with it.

Recently I was able to obtain the limited edition Disney Elite Premium 2-pack Hoth Leia and Darth Vader. This means I now have two Vaders, counting the original 12" one that I bought earlier this year. I don't need two Vaders, so I am offering the original one for sale at $75. It is still in brand new packaging, just as I bought it, and features over 30 points of articulation. Check out the picture below. These figures are going for $60 to $150 on eBay (plus shipping)!

Disney has just released a 1/6th scale line of Elite figures - the first two being Kylo Ren and this little beauty, Rey. They are not quite Sideshow Collectibles quality, but darn close...and at less than a quarter of the price! They feature 30+ points of articulation, extra accessories like guns, hands, back packs etc. Real cloth costumes and great paint job. I passed on Kylo, but I couldn't resist Rey. They are in the Disney stores now at $43.95.

Is there anyone out there who would be interested in MacFarlane hockey, basketball, football and baseball figures. I have quite a few, both loose and MIP, that have been sitting in boxes in my basement for several years now. I would like to sell them to free up space for my ever expanding Star Wars collection.
I can provide a list with pictures for anyone who asks. I am thinking of an average price in the $5 range per figure. Open to offers to move the whole works. |
