Frustrated with TRU. I was home in Ontario last week & couldn't order the Tantive IV set, couldn't even find it in fact. Get home to Regina & of course it's back available... and in stock 2 km from my house in Kitchener.  :speechless-smiley-004:

I'm sure it's possible they got more stock.... but I'm pretty convinced it was more likely website poopiness.

I just tried that too JJ, but none left in my area.
But I did get a BS Snowspeeder for $95 Using this code :)

Very nice. It's a sweet item!!!  :party0007:

I think my plan will be to purchase 2 tantive sets using the curbside code as soon as I get home to Ontario. Hopefully they're still in stock on Monday.

Welcome back. The tumbleweeds are blowing through the forums pretty regularly these days but there are still a few collectors posting their finds & discussing what's coming out next. As always the community remains very helpful & funny.  :)`

The effort required to keep up has gone completely off the charts. I personally am not even able to keep track of everything that's supposed to come out these days, let alone get all of it. I'm focusing on ESB figures & OT Imperials in the 6" format & whatever few Vintage 3.75" figures I can get my hands on that have cards I don't have a remake of yet. There isn't much for me left to get, honestly, and I'm more & more ok with that.

To me, these are not vintage figures so why put them on Vintage Collection Cards?  They have nothing to do with the movies but rather come from video games.

The vintage style packaging must cause the biggest reaction from buyers.... but eventually they will hit the point where people will give up trying to have complete collections if they keep watering it down.

Well the Royal Guard is up again for pre-orders.... but once again they have used a different photo from the one on the original vintage card (they are rereleasing the same one they used for the initial TVC release a billion years ago):

I'm not sure if we'll ever get the correct one:

No call from my store about Fett yet. Still holding out hope.

I ordered them too. ATST Driver & Paploo haven't been available on remade vintage cards before - 2 more off the list.  :love0030:

Interesting, I didn't know there was a plan for that to hit retail.

It's a great figure. I struggled to not buy it - I wanted the Darksaber almost badly enough to cover the cost on its own!

Rationale for anyone thinking I've lost my mind - I can't start down the 6" Mandalorian rabbit hole. Cannot......  Will not.....

Should not.  :(

I had that old set too, but it was one of the only orig trilogy toys I wound up selling in the purge - the price was right & that guard was an abomination. The chunkiness of the freezing chamber was good though.

I'll grab them if I see them - Hoth is impossible to resist.  :(
