Jim is the quintessential snowtrooper. He is friendly, polite, willing to work with others to make the deal work, and very fair. Honestly, he is one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with online or in person. I'd gladly go for a beer with him anytime if he didn't live like 10 hours away.

Jim - As always, thanks for the great deal!

Darth Sinister is an awesome guy to deal with, each and every time. Buy with confidence as he is an asset to this community!

Thanks again Sean!

There seems to be only about 11 people in the mix of things here or who have shown interest in this...the 10 people who submitted something and Sanjai.  How about that's our jury right there, with the idea that you can't vote for your own work. You can base it on whatever points system you then want and go from there.

Anyways, just an idea!

Hi Guys

Here is my diorama of the death star detention block control room, corridor to cell 2187, and the cell itself. Its made of foam core and poster board and the corridor floor and door locks have lighting incorporated within the diorama, as well as the ceiling of cell 2187. It's going to be the third floor of a larger 5 level death star diorama, which is a more long-term project. Enjoy!

I echo JJ's sentiment...but I will say that none of the other licensees showed much of TFA either.  I'm pretty sure not showing more TFA stuff or 3 3/4'' stuff is less a 'Hasbro blunder' and more of a Disney initiative. There is definitely a lot of secrecy behind the movie and its plot, and I think they are being told not to show things. We'll probably learn what new figures are produced in a few weeks on viperskingdom or we did for the first order stromtrooper. Which I think is the worst way to do it, but I guess that's their decision.

In terms of Hasbro blunders...lets say a 6'' scale TIE Fighter pretty much takes the cake.  We've been screaming for years for a 3 3/4'' death star, properly sized skiff, or sail barge...constantly told its too expensive, yet they come out with a 170$ TIE Fighter?!  I am biased because I do not save nor care for the 6'' line, but I find them very hard to understand sometimes. Who could display such a thing when most of us have been buying vehicles of a different scale going on 30 years!?

I totally agree with the sentiment expressed above...usually when you buy a loose figure, you don't expect the BAD part thrown in.  I was pleasantly surprised to see the BAD part included for the figure I purchased, and all other figures purchased were complete and in pristine shape.  Darth Sinister is truly a class act on this site.  Deal with confidence, great trooper to deal with.

Thanks again!

I went to my local Coles for was 15$ down from 20.99.  I purchased it along with one of those Beany Buddies (the 5$ ones) for my daughter. I ended up using a 5$ Plum rewards coupon and so my total bizarrely with tax was 15.75$. I paid with a 20$ bill and got 9.25$ back.  I am still trying to figure out the math...

Basically the book and the beany 6.50$...I think that was a fairly decent score!

The version they released a few years ago was in fact a UCS...

This was one of the first lego kits I got and it is very, very nice.

I'm lucky that my birthday always falls about a week after the May the 4th festivities. Every year, my wife takes me to the Lego store to buy me a set for my birthday which gets me the mini figure giveaway, and she then takes me to the latest marvel movie in the theater...this year, it's UCS Slave I, Admiral Yularen, and Avengers: Age of Ultron!

I'll let you guys know how the build goes! I'm very excited about this set since I didn't get the one that was out in 2008/09!

As for the TIE fighter, I saw it...but it didn't have the same effect one me.  Like you Hellboy, I already have a TIE fighter from 2012 and I'm pretty happy with that one.

I myself am waiting for an UCS AT-AT...

Hi Thirdfloor,

Its a 2015 of 2 UCS sets they are releasing this year. I believe it was released in January.  I saw one built at the local Lego store yesterday, its quite big. Similar in size to the Sandcrawler, but fewer pieces.

The next UCS set is the TIE Fighter which they are releasing May 2nd weekend for May the 4th festivities.

Have you called the Comic Shops in the Montreal area and provided them with a list and some pics?

Yes, I put the word out to 3 major players in the Montreal toy scene, and they in turn reached out to their contacts, plus visited a few comic/toy shops on the island.  Unfortunately, nothing has surfaced on that front.  I've checked eBay, Craigslist, and Kijiji from time to time...but nothing so far. I'm not holding my breath.

Hi all
Thanks for the help and support.
They took other things as well in the house. I believe they happened upon a place with sw stuff. I kept all my stuff in star cases and rigid plastic holders for loose figures. I think they saw those and assumed they were valuable.
