Yeah, a whole set for me too.

I'd pay 70-75 for that, that's about what they're worth, right?

His face certainly looks pained, not menacing.

But a good pose for sure.

Lego / Re:Looking for SW lego sets...MOC figures to trade
« on: April 15, 2005, 12:11:54 AM »
I have a Gunship, it's out of package, but complete! I was trying to sell it to a friend for about $50, but the deal fell through.

Which figures do you have MOC?

I'm looking for hard to finds or exclusives (a.k.a Lava Vader, Holo Yoda, Holo Emperor)

Get back to me if you're interested.

Ahhh, I see.

Thanks for clearing that up Yael.

Yeah, $70 not in my budget for a board game.

I can wait till a worthy celebration to receive it from a parental unit.

I wonder if you can buy a box from Burger King for around $60.

That's $2 a toy, about what they sell them for....I don't think I can eat all that food and maintain my slim, hourglass physique....

Yeah, if you want to stay completely spoiler-free no matter what, lock yourself in a dungeon from April until May 19, because even Star can ruin stuff for you.

Your reaction was a little over-done, it's not the end of the world, as Valfar so logically put it.

Hmm...Yeah, I'm swaying to not legit here. T

he droid isn't the red it should be, and it has NEVER been mentioned by Hasbro, if there were two, they'd package it like the Royal Guard with two photos at once.

If it's out, sure, I'll get it, but it could be a fake.

I know what I'm gonna have to spend with budgeting, and I overshoot, so I'll come in under my frightening tally.

Wampa Cave / Re:What if Hasbro made a VNTC line? Who'd you pick?
« on: April 14, 2005, 02:07:32 AM »

Qui-Gon - Never had a really good one
Darth Maul - Same as above
Battle Droid - Super articulation. BALL JOINTS!
Jar Jar - More articulation, more acessories

Obi - Worst figures in the AOTC line were Obi
Dooku - The ROTS one is good, but let's have an AOTC one that does him justice
Jango - Super articulation, up to the standard of VOTC Boba. Not too hard to do, Hasbro.
Super Battle Droid - Ball Joints, make it GOOD.

Anakin - Just do it. No reason not to.
Sidious - Not completely satisfied with the ROTS ones, plus, some cloth robes.
Mace - Again, give some cloth and a good face sculpt.
Grievous - Arms split in half and smoothly allign. Ball jointed arms and elbows, jointed wrists, etc. SUPER ARTICULATION.

Probably similar to the Lod of the Rings DVD that came with the ROTK EE Giftset.

Has anyone heard that Cingular Wireless clip of Grievous's voice?

I'm actually quite dissapointed, not frightening or foreboding, just sad.

I'll try and find the link.

I want the vehicle, not really the figure.

What kind of re-painted scout?

A Speeder Bike one, or the OTC one?

I still have yet to pick one of these up.

The Toys - Snowtrooper Reviews! / Re:ROTS Clone Trooper# 6
« on: April 14, 2005, 12:45:41 AM »
In response to Jabbapeconi, I'm not bashing his collecting habits, the more Clones the better, but how long do you think it seriously took him to find the picutres and paint those figures?

Like a few hours per Clone, that's why it's sad.

He did a good job, but that could be, potentially, a big waste of time.

I mean, look, we've got 4 packs of AOTC Clones with ranks now, so why not wait instead of taking all that time?

Just at my local Zellers today, and no Clones, Vaders or Royal Guards, and to my surprise, the Palpy and Annie Deluxes were all gone too.

Pretty much a fair spread of everything else though. I

didn't see any Aayla's and the Windu's were spread pretty slim.

Lots of Padme's though.
