The Skiff Guard 3 pack is back in stock on their website.
I haven't received a cancellation e-mail yet, and the status of my order says 'Processing' when I log in to check. (the 2 other items in the same order have already shipped, and was charged for those 2 items + the shipping even though it should have been free - like most others have reported) Holding out hope they will ship my two Skiff guard packs at the $17.99 price and credit me the shipping...the Skiff guard packs were in stock when I ordered

Yeah, I took a look at the TRU flyer earlier in the week and all they have is small acknowledgement on the front page in the lower right hand corner saying they will have Star Wars Figures, Role Play, and Building Sets on October 4th: https://toysrus.ca/en/rflyer Nothing promoted in the Wal-Mart flyer, or the EB Games flyer

Ugh...I'm likely in the same boat as you then. I do feel like they should honour the price - especially since it was 'IN STOCK' when we ordered. I have the 2 pack already and when I checked my credit card, I was charged the price of the 2 pack plus shipping. Even on it's own, the 2 pack should have been free shipping. It was placed Sept. 26th and still saying processing. Am I right that TRU is just going to sit on the order and leave it processing until they run out of stock and can send a message that there is no stock ? It is their business and they can make that choice - but seems like they should be sending out an email letting the customer know that they will not be completing the order. Being a collector I am not worried about whether they complete the order - but what if I was a Grandpa who placed this order for Xmas gift for the Grandchildren. Seems like TRU is making a mistake of not either completing the orders or notifing their customers that there was a pricing error on the web page and they can not complete the order at the stated price. Canadian Jedi: Great question...On Saturday Sept. 28th I ordered two of the "Star Wars The Vintage Collection Episode VI: Return of the Jedi Tatooine Skiff Figure Set", along with 2 Batman figures (Joker). Those 2 Joker figures have shipped (got an email shipping/tracking notification on Tuesday Oct. 1)...but based on the price that got posted to my credit card online statement it appears Toys R Us has charged me for the 2 Joker figures, the tax, PLUS full shipping ($10.86), which should have been FREE shipping because of the two Skiff figure sets I also ordered originally...Originally I was billed the full amount (the initial purchase hold placed on the credit card), but once it actually posted the amount is what I explained above... When I login to my TRU account, it shows the FULL original order under 'Order Details'...but no other signs on what the status is with the two Skiff figure sets...No other e-mails yet either. EDIT: If you click on "Star Wars The Vintage Collection Episode VI: Return of the Jedi Tatooine Skiff Figure Set" under your 'Order Details' it shows the updated price of $54.99...BUT it also says 'OUT OF STOCK'. The only way to find this item is via direct link. No longer shows via search as Goldenrod mentioned... 13

I agree with most everyone's comments here. I filled it out as well, with my choice being 3.75" if it was going to be that or 6" going forward. Lots of intriguing figures they are considering for the 6" line (General Grievous, Dengar, 4-LOM, etc.).
Also, very surprised at their focus on the props. I like them, but I'm not a big prop collector myself. That First Order Baton would be pretty amazing though! Expensive, but amazing. |
