Thanks, very appreciated and clarified indeed. You're right about handing the torch to our future generation when it comes to toys, I still have all my Fisher Price toys from when I was little and I was keeping them for all my kids to come. And I do look forward meeting you on the forums Hellboy. And to prove I'm no longer ticked by the humorous remark, here's a complementary change of mood icon ( the happy face beeing my actual emotional state )  :mad0218:

Hey Hellboy, I'm cleaning which basically means I would get rid of the stuff that is in my way right now. I also had an almost complete 80's gi joe collection ( I love this collection, even more than STAR WARS!!!! there I said it ), we're talking about big pieces like the Terrordrome and the Defiant here if you know what I'm talking about. I had to part with these items and that wasn't easy, but I know I'll see them again  with that good ol' collector spirit that never dies, so man, your comment would be welcome to me but It's kind of pointless now, because my cleaning has been in motion way before wanting to clean my STAR WARS collection. Anyhow, I'm truly happy for you if you can keep your stuff with your family and all, that's your choice and reality my friend, and I respect that ( I don't even know you by all means). But I made a different choice and I'm sticking to it. Anyhow cleaning a collection, doesn't mean I'm stopping collecting or getting rid of all my collection, but this is my way of disciplinating myself, knowing myself and my limits before the hobby gets all over the place, and I'm proud I did a damn good job so far for myself. And most of all to me, it's my personal way of responsabilizing myself towards that new little life I'm about to welcome. Ever heard of my misfortune can mean your good fortune? What if you end up wanting something from my collection? I know that you probably didn't mean anything bad by what you said, but you'll agree with me that it still represents what many might think of my move here, then again it's not really for either one of you to tell me this, even in joke... and you don't know me and I take my cleaning quite seriously, to the point of perhaps even beeing a bit too sensitive about it sometimes when the right button is activated, like now. So my apologies for sounding a bit offended, It could sound like that to many, but I'm really an easy going guy in general and I don't keep any grudge against someone if you must know because I know it's a total waste of energy in the end. I should thank you Devil for having said what you said to me, even if it was in joke, because you reminded me that what I'm doing is still that important to me.

But hey, enough with my novel here, You forgot to welcome me BuddyBoy!!!! :rollfloorlaffsmiley:  :fighting0072: LMAO!

Snowtrooper Recruitment / Miza New okeeday?

Hi everyone!

I'm from Montreal and I've been collecting 80's gi joe and vintage and newer Star Wars ever since I saw Return of the Jedi at the movies with my brother. My wish figure was Darth Vader but when our mother took us to Consumer's Distributers, we waited 15 minutes to be told that it was out of stock. So we left the store and headed to Miracle Mart, and got me a Snow Stormtrooper instead! He was my first Darth Vader back then so I really got to enjoy him more than just a trooper. My brother got the stormtrooper. I even remember which ones we got after that to this day in chronological order, it's that deeply imprinted in my memories as if it was yesterday. We made a list, and we kept updating it year after year. I'll always remember this sport as one of the greatest highlights in collecting. My first joe figure was Shipwreck, and my brother's was Crimson Guard.

Oh, and by the way, I'm becoming a father in End of November so I'll be doing some cleaning to make more room for the baby! I already did some on Joecanuck with my joestuff so now it's Star Wars turn. If you want to help me and help yourselves at the same time, please check my very soon to come future sales post as I'll be selling off big pieces from my collection.

Anyhow I could go on, but I'll keep the rest of this discussion for another topic ! Glad to finally be here!  :party0007:
