I re-ordered the Luke, DSD, and Tusken Raider a few days ago, and some carbonized shoretroopers yesterday...and my carbonized shoretroopers just shipped...first.

Then I got an email shortly after that my re-order of luke DSD and tusken raider will be delayed in having my order processed.

The Vintage Collection (TVC) / Re: TVC collection
« on: October 29, 2021, 11:25:20 AM »
The Vintage Collection Droids wave and BS Droids Boba Fett will most likely be a Toys R Us Exclusive as mentioned earlier.....I think these are supposed to be a December 2021 release.

The Vintage Collection 2D Clone Wars wave is supposed to be a February 2022 release....so far haven't really heard any updates on these figures on either side of the border. (I hate these figures already....just my opinion, waste of plastic, and an opportunity to get some new original 96 figures made.)

As for the Vintage Collection Power Droid, Luke Endor, and Tusken Raider Walmart exclusive....I believe all us Canadians are still waiting for our orders to be fulfilled.....including myself (I ordered on Day 1 as well).

We’re sorry there was an issue with your delivery. The package is being returned, and we will issue a refund within 3 - 5 business days after the return is processed.

It says in tracking'  customer refused the delivery.'

LIES!!!!

Amazon refunded me automatically yesterday.

Has anyone had issues with Amazon?

The last 4 out of 5 deliveries from Amazon has 'encountered an issue and cannot be delivered' then they say that it is being returned to Amazon.

The latest is my credit collection Mando. I complained and rhey sent a replacement and the same thing happened today with the replacement.

Everytime it gets to the shipping facility in Surrey and then miraculously has an issue. No delivery attempt or anything. Customer service says package was damaged and cannot be shipped. This sounds like BS for someone stealing my packages cause I knly order Amazon exclusives cause they have a habit of cancelling my orders but now it's  ridiculous when the shipping company is constantly cancelling my orders.

Here's the exact words: Package is undeliverable and is returning to the sender. A refund will be issued once the return is processed.
Surrey, CA

This is right after I get the notification that there is a possible delay in the delivery.
Yes....I had the same problem with my CC Mandos...an order was said to be undeliverable and it will be returned to the warehouse and I got a refund. Happened to an order of 4 VC Jawas as well ....orders were 2 weeks apart. I have another order of CC Mandos supposed to have been delivered on Sunday...order is now showing as delayed by 2 days...stuck at Mississauga facility.

The only thing I can think of is that Amazon breached the street date on the CC Mandos as I think these were originally supposed to be shipped in February 2022....and the orders got flagged after being processed.

Off Topic / Re: Alternatives to Ebay, or advice on selling on ebay...
« on: September 09, 2021, 02:12:41 PM »
As a seller on Ebay part-time....I had to register a chequing account back in June 2021 as I got an email 2 weeks prior to the switch over or the account would be locked from selling until I registered with their new system. (I had an existing secondary chequing account separate from my mortgage and other bills) I registered with my Driver License to confirm the account. (DON"T USE THE SIN NUMBER EVER).  Once registered and reviewed by ebay (may take 5 days or so), you are good to go. I print my labels off through ebay now instead of PayPal, and I set-up my withdrawals/Payouts every Tuesday so I limit the amount of transactions charges on my chequing account (so only 4 or 5 payouts to my chequing account per month.)

When I print off my shipping labels by Canada Post through Ebay, it gets automatically linked to the auction.

So far I have no complaints about the new system with Ebay.  There is also discounts on Canada Post shipping when you print your labels off via Ebay. It's so easy. I would recommend it

The only thing is you can't use the money from your sales that is sitting in your ebay payout account to buy anything for yourself on ebay (it's not like the PayPal cash balance). You can still use PayPal or Credit Card to purchase items on ebay.

As for charging automatically for 'Sales Tax'....I can't remember what my options were when I registered...but I know for mine, I didn't select it, and it wasn't mandatory back in June.

Also, if the buyer asks me and their feedback looks good, I will allow for Local Pick-up....but my rule is that I DO NOT accept payment at the door in cash or by etransfer.  The buyer has to select the 'Local Pick-up' option, and then has to pay immediately upon checkout through ebay.  (I set-up my local pick-up transactions with immediate payment.) This is to avoid those idiots that try to renegotiate the price at the door. This tactic doesn't work with me.

For Local Pick-up, ebay will send an email confirming the purchase and include a '6-digit number QR pick-up code'.  They buyer needs to bring this code with them to pick-up their item. The reason for this code is to prevent fraud by the buyer.  (Past buyers would pay in advance, go and pick-up the item, then go home and file a refund request stating they never picked-up the item from the seller. Even if the seller was honest on their side...there were a lot of buyer scams with this.)  If the buyer says he never got a 6-digit QR pick-up code and shows up at my front door...my alternative plan is that the buyer must leave me 'positive feedback' for me at the door on their phone, or I won't hand over the item(s).  So far, all my Local pick-up transactions as a buyer or as a seller have been great experiences. Once the buyer gives me the 6-digit QR code, I enter it in on my phone which acts like a tracking number, and confirms that the buyer has completed the pick-up transaction.

Non-Star Wars Toys / HASLAB Marvel's Galactus
« on: August 30, 2021, 11:33:53 PM »
Decided to 'back' only one of these in the last hour of the campaign. The units sold is approaching 30,000...about 8,000 more than the Sentinel.  I'm surprised that they sold more Galactus's than Sentinels. Sentinels are more of an army builder figure, not Galactus. I guess Galactus is more popular. The Sentinel is already pre-selling after-market for around $1100Cdn. Same thing with the Razor Crest.
