Wampa Cave / Re: Episode 9 Trailer
« on: April 12, 2019, 10:04:30 PM »
Anakin's lightsaber has been fixed.

My thoughts are; I loved it.  Not to go on too much of a rant here but I really really really wanted to like TLJ more than I did but after a year and a half I have to rank it at the bottom of my Star Wars movie list.  I'll still watch it from time to time and the Kylo/Rey/guard fight and the Kylo/Luke scene were great (and Yoda!) but there was just too much there that I didn't like (Canto Bight).  I just wish that Luke was handled differently.

Anyway I was able to catch the panel this morning and one thing that I though I heard JJ say was that (paraphrasing) the one good thing that came out of TLJ was the actor that plays Rose.  I took that as, and I'm reading between the lines, we are going to fix some things with RoS.

I think Rey is on Tatooine (not Jaaku).  I think she is there and it has something to do with Obi Wan.  And everyone is on a Desert Skiff later in the teaser.

At the end, I believe that's Death Star II.  I would think they are on Endor and that they are there to search the Death Star ruins for something.  I don't think that Palpatine is still alive but, if the gang is there to search the ruins, Palp could appear to them.  He can't live on as a force ghost but Sith can still "haunt" a place of significance.  The Death Star would qualify, since that's where he died.

My predictions: we see Luke, Obi Wan, & Qui Gon, we get a Ewok cameo, we visit a lot of OT worlds, and Rey's parents are presented for real.  I'm very excited now and if tickets went on sale today I probably would have bought the whole theater.

I have two EB's in my town and between them they only got one Grievous (or so they say).  I grabbed him, I'm a big fan of Revenge of the Sith and I just finished the comic Age of Republic General Grievous so I was a little pumped to find him.

I was able to watch one episode.  Really waiting for several seasons to finish before I get into it.  Unfortunately the episode I saw was the one where the alien pilot found a pet and it kept causing all kinds of trouble.  If the other episodes are this bad, I may skip this show completely.

Sadly Clone Wars was taken off Netflix today.

About 2 weeks ago I started watching it again.  This show is awesome and I've probably enjoyed it more this time around than I did the first.  It's brought back a lot of good memories, especially from collecting back in the day.  I guess I have to wait now until Disney Plus comes out to finish my re-watch, but really looking forward to it.

Scout Report / Re: EB Games Friday Deal
« on: March 02, 2019, 06:45:20 PM »
I got the Rouge One Trooper and Doctor Aphra.  The eb I got them at must have had them in the back because they didnít have any during the week.  Iím a MOC collector and I would have got a lot of the others, because they had several figures, but the cards were too banged up.

I went in yesterday and asked what Star Wars "loot" could I preorder.  The girl said the only thing she could find was a Imperial Trooper for $29.99.  So, that's what I preordered I guess.

I will go back soon for the Skiff.

EB Games has updated their ordering system....it now shows as 'Moloch'...no longer 'Conan'.

Also was at Target in Niagara Falls U S. of A. today...and the Molochs are 'shelf warming' like crazy, and they are all beat to hell with case cutter slits on top of the packaging....I found 2 that were acceptable.

Ugh, I hate when they have box cutter cuts on them.  I was in Target last month and found some of the black Gamorrean Guards that had that cut on them.

Speaking of radio dramas... A couple of weekends ago I drove from Vancouver Island to Lethbridge and back and listened to Forensic Files the entire time on XM.  Loved it.

Happy Holidays everyone!  My wife got me the Doctor Aphra Vol 1 hardcover, a couple of star wars shirts and Battlefront II.  It'll be awhile before I get to it though, got Spider-Man and Breath of the Wild too.
