I forgot to order the blue Stormtrooper.  I'm just hoping they got as many of him as the Elite Snowtrooper and Jumptroopers as initially, they ran out and then restocked and now they are peg warming.

I don't see any Jumptroopers around.  Elite Stormtroopers and C-3PO and Babu Frik, yes...

Anything new with the figures in the 6" vintage packaging? I have them all in their original black boxes & I'm going to save my $ for the Snowspeeder unless there's something significant I'm missing.

Updated face paints on Luke Bespin, Lando, and I suppose Luke Snowspeeder is kinda a new figure.  R2 is painted dirty to resemble his Dagobah look.

Hoth Rebel Soldier is a totally new figure.

That's about it really - everything else is either masked (and therefore no new photoreal is needed) or already came out with photoreal paint apps

Got a call from my local EB Games just Black Series Jedi Knight Revan and Stormtrooper Commander are ready for pick-up. Yay!

The Black Series Stormtrooper Commander and packaging are awesome, instead of the 'red and black' box, it's a 'royal blue and black' box.  The Black Series Jedi Knight Revan is a great figure as well.  I never ordered the Heavy Battle Droid....didn't want the figure.

I got that call too.  Then another call 2 minutes later saying i have to wait until Mar 1 - anyone selling the figs before then is in trouble.  And i love My EB Games.  I can wait

TVC is a massive let down. Nothing new. At all.

Well there was the Gonk Power Droid... and the Retro Stuff.

Also note that there were 2 waves of stuff announced already long before that.

So underwhleming?  Yes.  But not really nothing new at all.

The Snowspeeder for $150 with Dak is a better buy than the FO TIE Fighter (with the Pilot) at $200.  Easily.  It will sell.

The Vintage Collection (TVC) / Re: TVC collection
« on: February 07, 2020, 01:30:49 PM »
But this one is all new tooling.  I can't wait for this one.

All the new TVC vehicles are super-high quality for sure.  If you open them they are quite spectacular.  As a boxed collector (and I have too many open things already), the price is too high.  I'll have to wait until it goes on some kind of sale.

I have a feeling itís going to get worse.  Six Inch Black Series are going up by 10% to $32.99.   This might mean $20 Vintage figures?

It could happen. Since the price of 5" GOA also increased at Walmart. I'm surprised TRU hasn't changed the prices yet. Maybe it's only Walmart. For now anyways.

Or worse - they'll not raise the price because they aren't carrying them anymore.

Though honestly the last time I got something at a retail store that wasn't an exclusive (or wasn't me picking up an extra one I got long before) I can't remember.

So if the MSRP has gone up, or cost through distribution has gone up, then I suppose the prices will rise across the board.

If it's just Wal-mart, then big whoop.  I never find anything good there anyway.

I'd like the figure. Don't need another x-wing though.

Turns out there are a LOT of figures I'd like to see on a Vintage Cardback.

I used my daughters phone which takes much better pics - they are ridiculous high-res so I'll just link to them:

Shelf 1
Shelf 2
Shelf 3
Shelf 4
Shelf 5

Got this today.  Pretty happy with it.  The C-3PO is neat.

If I can ever get around to making a 6" Carbonite Freezing set, I'd be really happy to open this.  Course we need a Lobot first.

It will be a long wait for season 2!

It will.  The only thing that will really tide me over are some cool Mandalorian toys.  And man-o-man they need to make a LOT of them.

Also please make another IG-11 6" figure.

No no - hear me out.

This one on a speeder bike.  With The a backpack.  Would buy that in a heartbeat.

Surprised no one is talking about it.  I did finish it and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I'm gonna be working on getting all the trophies over the next two weeks.  I have 2 of the 5 planets at 100% so far.

The story was pretty good, there are some pretty unforgiving boss fights if you like a challenge, and the ending was nice.  It wasn't as much of a Metroidvania as they said it would be but if you are a trophy/achievement person like me there's about 50 hours of gameplay.

MILD SPOILER HERE - I do hope the game sells really well though, because there is room for a sequel.
I'm slowing working my way through it

Storytelling is good.  Voice acting is stupendously good.  Alien usage is good.

Gameplay is trash.  Hence the "slowly"

Buy, Sell and Trades - Modern Star Wars (1993-Present) / Customs for sale

Hi all,

I after creating 23 different custom Vintage-carded figures for figures that have not appeared on a newer Vintage Collection card, I had some extra figures and put them on a card as well.  I have 8 of them - you can see them in a group shot

All 8 for sale

Some of the figures cost me more money to get, but before I throw these up on eBay, I'd rather sell them here for the price listed + shipping.  And if you are one of the locals, of course you can swing by or meet for a pick-up

Bodhi Rook - $20

Chirrut Imwe - $20

Director Krennic - $20

Ezra Bridger - $25

Grand Admiral Thrawn - $25

Mon Mothma - $20

Padme Amidala (Arena Battle) - $30

I also have many others that I've done, but I don't have extra figures for.  (Including Rebels Ahsoka, The  Inquistors, Rose, Stormtrooper executioner, Maz, K-2SO, Luminara Unduli, General Leia, Hux and of course, Mara Jade).  If you have those figure and want me to put together a card and bubble for you, this can be done.  Also if you just want the card and bubble, no figure, that can be arranged as well - I'll make a video sometime on how to put them together.

It's first come first serve of course.

nice! how did u get the bubble on the inside to fit the figure ? i thought most custom jobs never had that. cool!

I use the original tray that came with the figure, and cut it down to be be small enough to used with clear tape to hold it to the inside bubble.  It looks surprisingly good.

Every sheet I print has a square piece of the right colour in case I have a figure I don't have a tray for to do what others usually do = put the folded piece between the legs to keep it standing up.  Haven't had to use it yet.
