Columbia Sports are selling (2) Challenger Insulated Rain Jackets with Star Wars Empire and Rebel logos,  red and blue light sabers on the inside and Aurebesh writing on the Jackets.   The Canadian web site is taking orders in Canadian dollars .  If you want one, it will cost you $300 cdn. including taxes and shipping .

Please have a look. I'm going to dig up the threads I can find discussing these & move them into their own area.

For those watchful ones, yes the Solo & LJ areas have been removed - but the topics that were contained in those areas have been moved to the Previous 3.75" Lines one. No opinions were harmed in this reorg!

So I've been reluctant to pile on Kathleen Kennedy like some people have done, but this comment has me dumbfounded.
I have so many disagreements with it from so many angles, I don't know where to start:

How can people be this stupid?

1) First, they threw all that material in the garbage on day 1. But even so, there's no reason they couldn't use parts of it as inspiration or starting points. Cherry pick the good stuff, and build on it.

2) How is "lack of source material" even an acceptable excuse, regardless of the property? Isn't that what writers are paid to do? So she is admitting that everyone at Lucasfilm is now incapable of having an original thought?
