Bobafett108, I stopped in at The Burger Revolution on Tuesday night with my family for supper and then checked out your Walmart on the way up north to the cottage.  On Tuesday they had about 6 of the retro figures on the pegs.  I was excited to see them because I am trying to get a Retro Boba Fett. Unfortunately they did not have one.  So the new figures must have been put out Wednesday or Thursday .

yea. those have been out on the pegs there for awhile. think Han, Leia and Lando. and nothing else.
I was told by the one worker there guy came in the morning but them out and took all the fetts. I know the guy and they were up on Kijiji for 60 bucks a piece that afternoon.

I been hunting for Retro Fett too. and no luck at all. and hate to have to pay the stupid price on ebay.

I went to the one In Trenton that were I saw the VOTC wave but Belleville may have them too will confirm tonight or tomorrow .

Confirming a provincial forum post, i also saw the TVC ESB Slave I at TRU - 219.99. There were 2 on the shelf. SKN is 501390.

TRU is also getting in the TVC Power Droid wave. Of course I didn't see a Power Droid. SKN is 479832.

There was a case of Mission Fleet Wave I Gear Class figure and vehicle sets: Ahsoka, Boba Fett, Clone Trooper and Chewbacca - 12.99.

Also saw a Galaxy's Edge Trading Post product - Lightsaber Workshop - 39.99.

Out of curiosity, what is the breakdown for the Power Droid wave.... and why the hell does the Power Droid rate interest when the TVC Jawa failed so badly just a few months ago?

POWER DROID X 1
COMMANDER WOLFFE  X 3
K-2SO X 2
LUKE SKYWALKER STORMTROOPER X 2

Well for me the jawa was only worth getting to keep mint on card. But I want 2 power droids. 1 to open one to keep carded. We've had a million jawas but this power droid is unique.

One of the main reasons the Jawa was a peg warmer for me was that it was available in the 3.75" black wave as a 2 pack for less money than the VC single card.

I get that for sure, but this Power Droid looks just like the one that came as a pack in with another figure back in the Legacy days, doesn't it? What did they add, the pop off top? The 1 per case thing helps me understand why he's not hanging around anyhow.

Are you referring to that light tan one?  This Gonk is definitely an all-new mold from what I can recall. They don't even look the same.

Regarding the Jawa being a bomb. I'm going to cite the same reasons as others: poor value for the money (given that it's a lazy repack of the plastic Jawa, when at the very least Hasbro should've given him a softgoods cloak).  And the way that Hasbro put the bubble on the card looked like total and utter CRAP.

You don't reward that kind of laziness by forking over your hard-earned cash.

1979: a young Napseeker, desperate to add any new Star Wars figure to his tiny collection, finds a lone carded Jawa on the peg at Woolco, and brings it eagerly to his mother to buy for him.

Mother: Son, that tiny doll doesn't look like it is worth $3.99.
Nappy:  But mom! It's Star Wars! PUH-LEEEEEZZZEEEEE!!!!!!   :(
Mother: No.

2019: an elderly Napseeker, desperate for any new TVC figures after years of Hasbro sticking it to 4-inch collectors (in favour of the more profitable 6-inch line) finds a lone new TVC figure of the Jawa on the pegs at TRU.

Napseeker: This tiny doll doesn't look like it is worth $17.99+tax (always include the tax as part of your cost, always!).

The child inside Napseeker's mind: But Napseeker! It's Star Wars! It's on the vintage card!  PUH-LEEEEEZZZEEEEE!!!!!!   :(  :(   :(

Napseeker: No. (leaves the store)    :luke:

Cylons: This has happened before and it will happen again.
 :P

The new VC167 Power Droid is based on the same mold as the one included in the Vintage Collection Target Exclusive 3-pack "Droid Set" released back in 2012. This time, the top section has been replaced with a brand new one to match the Lars' Homestead Power Droid. The rest (bottom part, legs) is exactly the same but repainted.

Check my Instagram feed @jedipatrick to see the figure. :)

Gonk gonk gonk!  :artoo:
