All I can say is that back then it was Star Wars Mania and litteraly no one was spared: Everyone was kind of a fan of Star Wars to some extent...or a wannabe fan. There was even Disco Star Wars music and the now forbidden dance aka the C3PO dance. Yes, we all litterely fell for the Star Wars bandwagon, even though Admiral Ackbar would've said repeatitly: "It's a trap!!!" Imagine if Admiral Ackbar would've appeared in 1978, maybe most of us would not have fallen for the impossible to resist trap. Still, I'm glad there was a lot of Star Wars coverage at that time, that's what helped me enjoy Star Wars even more. Like someone said it in an earlier post, we must accept that it happened. Not all of it might be "great" but it's still got it where it counts, even though George made a lot of special modifications himself that didn't do much IMO :speechless-smiley-004:
