Barnes and Noble
« on: September 18, 2017, 12:33:07 PM »

I ordered the Royal Guard 4 pack from Barnes and Noble today. They only charge $6.50 in shipping to Canada, at least for me. With exchange the whole thing came out to just over $114. This works out to just less than $29 per figure and this is what we pay in Canada anyway for the regular figures. Even if I get taxed at the post office when it arrives it really is no different than buying it in country.

Now if only I can get the Snoke somewhere other than Gamestop. I am hoping EB Games brings it here.

I did the same...ordered two packs!  Much easier and don't have to chase them down!

That's a really cool set - and the blue Royal Guard from the PT TRULY deserves a 6" figure. I didn't know this was coming, nice find.

Wow - I mean it's $90.75 US which is about $112 right now (more I suppose when it appears on your credit card) which is WAY less then these exclusive generally are here.  I'm remembering the Astromech set at TRU being 89.99 + tax and that wasn't shipped to my front door.  And this is 4 full-sized figure.

Good Deal.

I just ordered Commander Wolffe from the B&N website. It was $19.99 US plus just over $8 shipping. Not too bad. I am hoping I have less problems than last time ordering from them. For some reason my last order took 3 months to arrive in the mail. They did refund my money though so in the end I got everything for free.

Same thing happened to me last time I ordered from B&N - never showed so they gave me a refund.  And they sent me two of them.

And it was the Imperial Guards 4-pack ;)

Yes, that is exactly what happened to me. Very strange. It had been so long since I had ordered them that when I did get two I had to go back and check my order to see if I ordered one or two. I had only ordered one.

Time will tell on when and what will show up on this new order.

Right now there's a coupon code that gives $4 off and it also lowers the shipping to 6-something. They charge tax of $1 something. All in it comes out to about $23 and change US. Which is quite reasonable, considering.

Thanks for the heads up on barnes and noble. I had given up on getting wolffe and never thought to check there. Was okay with passing on wolffe  since he's not OT but it's an awesome looking figure so figured I'd go for it at such a reasonable price. Hopefully no customs charge.

B&N does regularly have coupon codes so I did a search and found that one. It was weird though. It is for "up to 20% off". When I put 2 wolffes into my cart it was still only $4 off the total. So buying two was really no savings.

My wolffe arrived yesterday. Beautiful figure. No additional customs so worked out to less than buying a black figure at regular retail in Canada.

Thanks again for the heads up.

I don't have mine yet. Hopefully it is not a repeat of last time.
