Mike:

I watched the latest video on your site.  Great spots and advertisement for the store.  I have not been in the store for long time, due to where I live, but it looks great.   :u:

You mean, since Sept 29th, 2012 when I re-opened? ;)

Darn it.  You know your customers.  After you mentioned that fact, it reminded me that I made a special visit, because I was happy that you reopened.  I was sad when you closed the old store.

I skipped the Barbie episode but enjoyed the other three.  GI Joe was my least favorite but that's probably because I never played with them.

Star Wars and MOTU were my first loves, then baseball cards, then comics, then back to Star Wars.

I see then next four episodes are: Transformers, LEGO, Hello Kitty, and Star Trek.  Will check out Transformers and LEGO for sure but not the other two.

I watched them all, and never really had any of the toys as a kid in the 80s (we only ever had Lego growing up).
But they were all very interesting episodes - even the Barbie one - cool to see the history of the toys, companies, etc. and to see interviews with lots of people in the industry, both current and past. If you can take the time, I recommend watching all the episodes, even if you're not a fan of the toyline. Looking forward to the next 4!

I recommend watching them all as well. The Barbie episode was interesting.

I have only seen the Star Wars one so far. It has been a while since I have watched any Star Wars documentary and actually learned much of anything, but I did learn some things from this. For example, I had no idea that Lucasfilm and Fox each only got 2.5% of toy sales from Kenner figures. Kenner must have raked it in from that deal!

For sure, Kenner must have made boatloads of cash. Somebody there got real rich, really fast.

Loving this series. Just watched the transformers one. I learned a lot. Started the lego one until Rogers service went completely out on me...

I wonder if there will be a season 3.

Haven't watched the new ones but what would season 3 consist of?  Hot Wheels?  Mego?  Marvel Legends (there's a great story there!)?

What would you want to see?

For my daughter - definitely My Little Pony.  The Rise, Fall and subsequent Rise of MLP is a great story.  Talking to Lauren Faust (who created the current incarnation) would be a must.  (Huh, I just realized how much MLP I've absorbed by it simply being on my TV so much.  It's a little painful to admit - I'm no brony.)

I think Hot Wheels is a big brand but I wouldn't be surprised that there isn't much of a documentary.  But I don't really know about that.

Funko POP! figures would be a great story.  I would love to know how they acquire so many brands!

Watched Transformers which was ok & slept through Star Trek - which is about what I would expect having watched a few episodes & movies of that franchise over the years.  :rollfloorlaffsmiley: :rollfloorlaffsmiley: :rollfloorlaffsmiley:

Having two daughters (12 & 10) I'm no borny either but I could name more MLP's than most people on this planet.
