It does look good & I'm way more excited about this show than I am for The Rise of Skywalker.

So does anyone know what's going on with Disney+? It's supposed to go live Nov 12 and yet in Canada you can't even sign up for it yet. It's just got the coming soon and keep me informed page.

The Americans were able to at least sign up weeks ago.

Seems odd they aren't at least letting Canadians sign up. Or am I missing something?

I'm hoping we have the chance to register as soon as it's available - no idea whey they wouldn't let us sign up ahead of time.  :mad0137:

I imagine it'll just show up in the relevant App Store (PS4, Xbox, Apple, etc) on Nov 12.

Nothing there we haven't known for weeks. It would be nice if we could get the sign up done ahead of the 12th and just log in on the day and watch. It feels like they're unprepared.

Watched it already and it was excellent.  Gritty feel to it like the Mos Eisley scenes in ANH and Rogue One / Han Solo.  Episode was very short though like 35 minutes.  Nice twist at the end as to the bounty, be interesting to see where they go with that.  Lots of opportunity for cool figures based on the bar scenes.

No spoilers - but man did I enjoy that first episode. I did not have my hopes up, but even if I did this would have easily met them. Awesome start to what I hope will be an awesome series!!!!  :u: :u: :u:

Very RO/OT feel in this first Episode.

Juste like Rogue One, I would buy dozens of figures from this series if Hasbro brought them to TVC.

Watched it, liked it. On another note, the Han/Greedo scene from ANH has changed again....

Had more aliens in it that I liked than all of TFA  or TLJ.

Can't wait to see where this series goes.

I think it is by far the best SW Disney has done so far & confirms my thoughts that Favreau should have been the Director for the ST.  Than we probably would have had a good trilogy instead of the piece of crap that we got.

Off to an excellent start - they're incorporating exactly the right amount of humor which is NOT easy in the Star Wars realm. I hope the little green friend stays part of the show, I want to know more!  :yoda: :yoda: :yoda:

Amen. Jawas, ugnauts, trandosians, monkey lizards... now this is Star Wars.  No more Bad Robot designs, please... and the only reason you never see OT aliens in the SW sequel films is because JJ Abrams gets merchandising/toy royalties for any new alien designs that Bad Robot created for the films, so he has far more per$onal interest in using his designs than any of George Lucas's aliens.

I honestly never thought we'd see the day where you'd get an action-adventure sequence involving a Jawa Sandcrawler.  If anyone remembers the original Marvel comics run where Han, Leia and Boba Fett are all involved in a big action sequence aboard a runaway Sandcrawler, this totally reminded me of that.

Hopefully Hasbro is smart and releases a Sandcrawler vehicle based on this sequence, toss in a bonus muddy Mandalorian figure packed on TVC card with it, and big sales. The Disney store one is nice, but I hate that awful brown color they chose.
