It must be like the later heavier ones.  I have no problem with the older vintage one.

Interesting. I don't think I've ever owned an updated ATST. The article I found reviewing the vehicle only makes the same complaints - no solutions offered. :(

I'm very excited about the character AND casting news. I just wish they had kept it secret. :(

Even more great news.  Love seeing these cartoon characters being brought to life in a live-action series:

https://io9.gizmodo.com/report-katee-sackhoff-is-reprising-her-clone-wars-role-1843417351

Quote
Report: Katee Sackhoff Is Reprising Her Clone Wars Role on The Mandalorian

According to the site, Kryze would once again be played by Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff, who voiced Bo-Katan on both Clone Wars and Rebels. Given the first season’s cliffhanger ending revealing that new bad guy Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) now wielded the Darksaber and that the Empire had practically wiped the Mandalorian people out, suffice to say Bo-Katan’s potential role on The Mandalorian’s sophomore season is going to be an interesting—and likely tragic—one.

I'll be glad to see her too, but I don't see any way that it can end well - we know Gideon has her Darksaber :(

THIS

I mean, they managed to keep freakin' Baby Yoda a secret, they should be able to do that with anything!
I'm keeping all the rumoured & confirmed characters a secret from my kids though. At least they don't follow all the gossip news sites. I'll be able to experience their surprise vicariously.

Maybe she should get it back...

My daughter and I are CRAZY excited for a season that has Ahsoka, Sabine, and Bo-Katan.

I have ZERO confidence Hasbro is up to the job of making sure they are ready with figs (except they are rereleasing Ahsoka and Sabine, it doesn't seem Mandalorian related)

I rewatched 7 & 8 last night with my wife who hadn't seen any of it (other than 9000 baby Yoda memes of course). She loved it. It transcends, just like the OT. More & more excited for season 2.  :)`

I've watched the first two documentaries. Pretty good. A lot of patting each other on the back but there's enough there to get some insight into some of the sensibilities and tone they are going for. And you really do get a strong sense of love and respect for the property from the creators, Favreau and Filoni in particular. Filoni's run through on the death of Qui-gon and it's implications is a good example of how he really gets it.

I found Kathleen Kennedy's inclusion in the second episode rather odd. She really seemed kind of awkward in that group.

Anyway so far they're worth watching.
