It’s extremely cold and snowy in sunny Mississauga this morning and to top it off, our furnace packed it in on Friday!
We can’t get it replaced until Monday so we have the fireplace and three heaters going full time to keep the temperature above 18 inside.
Wish I had a Tauntaun to crawl into.

Great timing for the furnace to conk out. Hopefully your fireplace and heaters do the trick.

We've been pretty lucky this winter. Even this "snow storm" didn't amount to much, at least in Vaughan. Maybe worse in Mississiuga, not sure.

Either way hope you get your furnace replaced with no issues!

i shoveled our driveway tonight for a bit over 2 hours! (its not huge but not small either) :S lots of snow in st.catharines. The Niagara Region was said to get the majority of this storm apparently. based on my driveway fun id say its kinda true! lots of drifts from the wind too. snows high in the backyard.

were the AT ATS when i need them

I hear ya. It hit -40 where I live on Friday. The weekend wasn't much better. It warmed up to -14 today. That is almost shorts and t-shirt weather. Of course the snow will follow tonight.

It's been a crazy winter here. We were about -15 Saturday night. It snowed early Sunday, then warmed up to about +11 and rained ton with lots of wind. Now, today, it is back to -10.

East coast weather always seems to be a roller coaster ride. From day to day you never know what you will get, especially in the winter months.

Hi Ross...sorry to hear about your furnace. Is it all fixed up now? Hopefully you didn't have to move to much of your collection to have the furnace replaced.

Yes, the heat is finally back on. I had to clear away a lot of my display walls in order to get at the old furnace and get the new one in, so my basement is in a major state of disarray. Now I have to take a real hard look at boxes of “stuff” that I have squirrelled away for years, and decide if it is worth keeping.
Hopefully I will end up with a cleaner, more meaningful display of my collections.

Sorry to hear about your furnace Ross. When we were all over someone mentioned whether you had ever had to get in at the furnace. The evil furnace gods must have been listening . Glad to hear the heat is back on.
