well said! i have a lot of loose vintage figs. a lot from when i was a kid but i also filled some holes from fb groups a few years back. so plenty of real vintage loose but im into getting some of those carded. those MOC are awesome and ill probably just leave them as is and display the real vintage in and around the new fake ones!

your right i think. it wont really affect anything truely vintage. some might try to rip someone off. i get that but they will be stamp marked so no ones going to get away with that.

They did mention that they were going to be just a tad bigger than original figures as to differentiate them.

That big red fake looking sticker needs to be much smaller. It really takes away from the card. I am ok with the fake looking weathering. I wonder if the weapons will be the same. While the figures will be easy to differentiate from the originals because of a date stamp, weapons will not. This could flood the market with "repo" weapons for lack of a better term. How will I be able to tell if Han's blaster is from 1978 or 2019? Maybe they will be a big different colour. That would help.

I don't think the value of the vintage figures will decrease.

Ugh, almost everything seems to be exclusive these days. I hate trying to buy the exclusives.
The skiff will awesome next to the Barge. I am looking forward to that.

ya, repro weapons is a problem with a lot of people. i honestly dont care about that and even bought some repro off ebay for my loose vintage figs cause they mostly have no weapons. id never try to sell them off as real though either and plan on keeping them for my own display purposes.

i do have some real ones from the old days and i already thought about making sure i know what ones are what. ha! :) so i get the concern.

So which never before made characters you would everyone like to see after Tarkin? When I was a kid i always wished there was a cantina band member, a Rebel Soldier and Han in Stormtrooper outfit from A New Hope. I can't think of any significant missing characters from The Empire Strikes Back. From Return of the Jedi, Luke in his Death Star duel outfit, Darth Vader with removable helmet and maybe an Ishi Tib from Jabba's palace. Ishi Tib appeared in the Kenner colouring books, and I always wondered where the figure was!

I always wanted a white protocol droid from the Hoth base, for no real reason. Typing it here, I suppose it would have been quite easy to customize with some liquid paper.  :speechless-smiley-004:

ya, you could tell it was printed on. i could anyway, if thats going to be the size thats wrong. someone said its not going to take up half the card but i cant see how if thats what they had on display unless they realized it before it was made for mass production. wont be long till we see. too many exclusives these days

the GG tvc is exclusive now too. wth! i got two from TRU back in 2013 so that still is awesome. i put a lot effort to get those too. hasbro sucks now. money money money.
