Kassel Run 3.75" Falcon $65 @ Amazon.ca
« on: March 10, 2019, 11:49:11 PM »

The Kessel run 3.75" Falcon is currently $64.77 at Amazon.ca, buy it there or show it to toys r us for a price match.

https://www.amazon.ca/Star-Wars-Kessel-Millennium-Falcon/dp/B072QMZTYT/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=Star+wars+falcon&qid=1552275772&s=gateway&sr=8-10

Is it worth $65? I don't know, but that's much better than $130 for folks that have a falcon corner in their star wars room.

The box sure is small and light compared to the BMF.

The Walmart one is not the same thing. It's even smaller and fits in the B class Solo vehicle line.  Think it even ships in cases with the Solo Landspeeder and A-Wing.

For me though, $64.77 is still too much to pay for that crappy Kessel Run Falcon.

Yes, it's definitely the least impressive of the 3.75" Falcons,  I was waiting for the sale because I've picked up all the other 3.75" Falcons up to this point so I figured why quit now. We really reached a high water mark for Hasbro SW toy quality (at a reasonable price) back in the 2004 to 2012 range.

For 3.75" stuff - yes.

I'd even say Hasbro SW in general for quality at a reasonable price, we've passed the high water mark. I think the latest 6" black series stuff looks absolutely great,  but I don't consider $30 for a 6" figure to be a reasonable price.

I shouldn't even limit it to Hasbro, take a look at what Hasbro was able to deliver in their Titanium Ultra line (6" to 7" sized die cast vehicles) for $12 to $18 in 2006 to 2010 (roughly) and compare that to Mattel's hot wheels elite at $50 to $80 for roughly the same product with a nicer box.
