unfortunately this is a very tough market for star wars stuff, especially if opened.

are there any local toy shows in your area? Might be worth getting a table and selling there. Or of course, try your local kijiji.

A few different ways to attack it. When I sold all my prequel toys - which was a lot - about 1000 figures & numerous ships - I advertised at different toy forums including this one and Rebelscum. I wound up selling off the most desirable items for good prices, then accepting offers for bulk lots of the remaining items. It was quite a bit of work. I would suggest taking a bunch of pictures & using some good ones to illustrate the high quality items, and be ready for a flood of requests for further pictures of specific items folks are interested in. The toughest choice is whether or not to go through the hassle of breaking up the lot or not - once you start down that path it can make you very busy. Good luck.

I would like to echo JJs sentiment.  It really depends on the amount of work you want to put into it.  The more work you put into it, the more $$ you get out of it.  I've bought and sold collections of SW toys and other things and this holds true pretty much in every collectible market.  I love doing that, so the work is kinda like fun for me, so I put a lot into it.

I'm not sure what the market is like for Micro Machines and some of the other stuff, so it would be hard to give you more specific advice
