Amazon Chewie with pull apart Threepio
« on: December 07, 2019, 10:44:17 AM »

Apparently I slept on this too long. Out of stock with no idea if/when they'll get more. Has this item shipped? Anyone got one in hand yet?

EDITED: Disregard. Not sure what happened the last time I saw this item, but today I was able to place a (very expensive - almost $75 even with free shipping) pre-order. It won't ship until Jan 20, 2020.

This one seems too expensive. I already have multiple Chewies and 3PO's. Just seems like a lot for pretty much the same figures with a net.

From what I can tell, that Chewie is just the same mold as the Chewie figure from SOLO (obviously without the SOLO bandolier and rifle).

So yeah, it's a fairly dull repack for people who already have the C3PO and the SOLO Chewie. The price would definitely have to drop considerably before I bite on yet another Chewbacca.

I'm planning to sell my Threepio & Chewie figures to recoup some of the money. Can the other Threepios be broken down into parts? The one I have is the EB games exclusive OT one from a couple of years ago - I never opened it.

Got this today.  Pretty happy with it.  The C-3PO is neat.

If I can ever get around to making a 6" Carbonite Freezing set, I'd be really happy to open this.  Course we need a Lobot first.

Mine came too. It's like the grievous and gammorean - both awesome but too expensive for what you get. Its basically a figure with a deluxe accessory.

Yeah, i ordered, then cancelled  but ultimately ordered again...haha. Still waiting for ship notice. It is a little pricey, but I dont have an OTC Chewie but have an extra bowcaster.
