Toys R Us changing its operating hours

I learned this the hard way today when I showed up at TRU at 10:30am.  The stores will now operate at reduced hours from 11am to 7pm.

Obviously it is due to the corona virus concerns and likely that they don't expect many people or families will be coming out to buy toys during this period.  The manager told me that this decision was told to him this morning, so the website may not have been updated yet to reflect this.

The website actually says they are closing stores until March 30th.

Yup. Smart move on their part.  The manager at my TRU told me this might end up happening when I was talking with him the other day about the hours changing to 11am - 7pm.  Looks like they made that decision today.

TRU needs to use this time to drastically improve their on line ordering and move to the curb side only pick up model I am seeing at some of the retailers here in Florida.
