Snowtrooper Collections / Updated Loose Collection Shots
« on: April 23, 2016, 06:12:18 PM »
After seeing Thirdfloor's photos of their collection, I was inspired to post an update of my collection here. It's been almost 3 years since I moved to my house and set things up... and well the collection has blown up from there. New shelves have been installed to accomodate it but I am running out of room... think I need a new house.

Take a look at the collection here:

Snowtrooper Collections / The Collection is Now Set-up!
« on: September 29, 2013, 06:58:39 PM »
Hey all,

I finished setting up my collection today!  Only took a month!  All figures are on Protech clear stands which are new.  I decided that since this is a new place I didn't want the jumbled look of the misc. Star Wars stands that come with figures.  The blocks and tiers are all 1x3s cut to fit, sanded down, and painted to match shelves.  This took a LONG time but I'm glad I did it as it let's me do some interesting figure set-ups.

I feel like if anyone will appreciate it, it will be you all.  Please check out the imgur gallery of the collection below:

Jedi Archives / Balancing Vintage Collection General Grievous?
« on: September 17, 2013, 10:04:45 PM »
Hi all,

The setting up of my collection is going well.  Let's just say, I may have purchased 250ft of 1x3s this last weekend and spent 10 hours cutting, sanding, and painting (all by hand) them for the display.

I have run into an issue with the Vintage Collection General Grievous ( and am looking for advice.  All my figures are on stands to keep them on stands to keep them upright (and to keep me sane).  Well this Grievous has no peg holes in his feet.  I have other figures that don't have peg holes that I get them upright by using 2-side foam tape and a stand.  Grievous, however, is a special case, his feet aren't flat (due to his "claws") and so he doesn't stick to the foam tape at all.  He is also taller than most figures and his cape makes him quite top heavy.  Add this all up and he has been a nightmare to set-up.  Anyone out there have this guy and can provide any tips for setting him up?

Jedi Archives / Fun times sorting...

Just moved into my new place and I am currently setting everything up.  Just wanted to share one of the best part of the whole ordeal: matching lightsabers to the correct Jedi/Sith!

Snowtrooper Recruitment / Hi all!

Hi all!

A vendor at fan expo tipped me off to this site.  I am happy to see a proper Canadian Star Wars collecting community!

I am a loose collector of 90s and on 3-3/4" lines.  I am currently sitting at over 500 pieces in the collection.  I just moved so I am setting things up but will post some pics of the collection once it is complete!

And to that vendor at fan expo, I still crave that Hoth AT-ST set!
